Day 4:Craft/blog every day in June!

Day 4: Which crafting season is your fav & why OR Craft something with silver in it

First, i thought it's got to be Winter but then thinking about it....it could just
as easily be Autumn! I love when the kids go back to school/college & I start to really
get stuck into Christmas preps! I love when the weather turns, that nip in the air...
......crunchy leaves underfoot, those gorgeous golden colours. I love when it starts
to get darker earlier & I tend to do more x stitching too...sat in front of the fire
with a huge mug of hot chocolate stitching away! I love all the frosty blues, love blue
anyway but tend to use it a lot for Christmas makes....I love trying to make just the right
Christmas card for the right person.....and gifts too, this year already I have lots of ideas
for gifts.....one or two I've actually started!!! Rebecca & me can easily while away
an Autumn/Winter weekend in the craft room....snuggly pj's, munchies & loud music blaring
away......and a Yankee Candle burning! To be honest, we often do all that at any time
of the year but come Autumn/Winter it just feels different....no idea why, it just does!
I love all the gorgeous Christmas embellies....frosty, sparkly snowflakes........glitter.....
twinkling lights....eggnog.....Christmas movies......oh, and Christmas Cake!!!

What's your favourite craft season?
xx

  3. Ahh Christmas! I think Winter and Autumn is a great time of year for crafting - and I agree there is something about that time of the year that there is that special something about crafting! Mel x

  4. I love fall too...like you that is when I start combing Pinterest looking for ideas for gifts and gift wrapping ideas. Fall is whenyou might find me crocheting Xmas dishcloths, or making hairbands for Little Miss C to match her Christmas party dresses. Usually she has two and so it is fun to planl!
I like the sound of that Yankee candle you burn, bet it is a nice Fall scent as well.

  5. Autumn is my favourite season Jo because of the beautiful colours. I think the latter part of the year is great for crafting as there is always so much to do!
