All you need is love......

Morning crafty friends, hope you're all well.
I've woken to a very wet, dark & dismal day here on the Yorkshire Coast so guess what I'll be doing today? Yeah, you guessed right.........once the jobs are done I'll be hiding in my craft room.......but to have a sort out/tidy up......then maybe a little play time!
I have a love themed card to share today, a little bit shabby & IRL the colours look so pretty. A few heart die cuts, a couple fishtail banner die cuts, half a heart shaped doily & a die cut frame......oh, and I distressed the edges then finished with the word love and that's it.....done!
Rightio, gonna get an early start today.......thanks for calling.......have a lovely day!

Scrappymo's Rudolph Days Challenge!

Morning crafty friends......hope you're all well.
Did you have a lovely weekend? As usual, it flew past & I didn't get done half of what I wanted.......I did manage some baking though so that kept the troops happy lol!
So this year I was determined to join in with my friend Scrappymo's Rudolph Days Challenge where she invites us to enter a Christmas make every month........a great way to build up your Christmas card stash! I went with a non traditional colour combo this time & made a little 5x5 card. Lots of layers, some distressed, some silver mirri card for extra sparkle, a lovely die cut frame, die cut embellishments & finished with some faux pearls.......my 1st Christmas card of 2018!!
Rightio, better get going.......thanks for calling & whatever you're up to have a lovely day!

Hello 2018!

Morning crafty friends, hope you're all well & warm and not struggling too much weather wise. We had snow over the weekend so guess what I'm doing today? You guessed.....snuggling down in my craft room! Before I waffle on anymore I'd like to wish you all a (very belated) wonderful happy, healthy & craft filled New Year! I hope 2018 is everything you want it to be! Ok, I know I'm late but at least we're still in January lol! Have you made (and broken) any New Year resolutions? None for me, I'm just gonna take each day as it comes, craft when I can, blog more & try and challenge myself more craft wise........and maybe have a much tidier craft desk!
So for today I have a card topper to share........a great way of using up those snippets we all have lying around.......and a topper is much easier to store too then when needed I can just mount it onto a card blank & that's it......job done! I used simple matting & layering of black card and silver mirri then finished with some die cut pieces........simple!
Rightio, got some jobs to do.........then it's playtime! Thanks for calling & whatever you're up to I hope your day's a good one! xx
