Anything Goes with Sparkles Challenges!

Morning crafters, happy Monday......hope you all had a lovely weekend!

It's time for the last Sparkles challenge of the year and it's our Birthday..

....Sparkles is 4 years old and so our lovely Shaz chose the theme of

ANYTHING GOES!

I wanted to make a card that would be suitable for any occasion so 

decided to go with a peach/brown colour combo. The papers were free

 with a mag, the decoupage teddy is from a sheet I've had for years but 

sorry, I can't remember where it's from. Sentiment is LOTV & ribbon &

lace is from my scrap box.

Share an Oldie this Friday.....Magical Moment!

Morning lovelies....hope you're all well!

Ooh, it's a cold, wet & windy day here.....was planning & popping out

and finishing the last bits of Christmas shopping but I think I might 

just stay put........maybe get all my cards written ready to post instead.

So today I'm joining in with Erika over at Snappycrafts where we're

invited to share an oldie. This week I've chosen to share a digital

 scrap page using a pic of my daughter when she was an angel in her

school nativity play, It's one of my fav pics of her & I took it at the 

same time as a professional photographer who came in to the school to

 take pics of the play for the local newspaper. My pic was slightly blurry

 around the edges which is why I turned it into a digital page but the

official photo is truly stunning.....worth every penny I paid for it lol.

Something to do with Gifts with Nutcrafters!

Morning crafters, hope you're all well!

We have a new challenge for you over at Nutcrafters this week, the theme

this time is SOMETHING TO DO WITH GIFTS!

I decorated a gift bag this time, it's very similar to a tag I made a little

while ago but I love the colours so thought why not use them again?

Apart from the bag & the gems everything I used came from my scrap

 box.......you'd think I'd be at the bottom of that box by now but no, still

can't see it......although I suspect us crafters are all the same.......we don't

like to throw anything away lol!

Here's a close up of that sweet little snowman.

Quick & Easy!

Morning crafters......hope you're all well & had a good weekend?

Today I have a super quick & easy card to share....my son James asked if

I could make him a card with 'one of those real old bikes' on it......and he

 needed it straight away.........like in five minutes lol! 

Lucky (for him) I had a Penny Farthing die just waiting to be used!

Some simple matting & layering, a sentiment & a 5x5 card blank and

that was it.......done........thankfully both James & the recipient loved it!

White on White with Crafty Calendar!

Morning lovely crafters......hope you're all well!

It's a beautiful bright & frosty morning here on the Yorkshire Coast & we're

 gonna go get ready for a walk around the Town's Christmas Market....I'm sure

 there'll be some fab things on offer & maybe even some tasty treats to

 munch on while we're browsing!

So today sees the last challenge of the year over at Crafty Calendar & the

 theme this time is WHITE ON WHITE.....perfect for this time of the year,

 don't you think? As usual, no more than 3 entries & you can make anything

 you like....just so long as it's a white on white make!

I made some more tags.....I never have enough tags & this year I've found

 them quite addictive to make lol and they're a perfect way of using up some

 odds & ends from the scrap box. For these two I used 2 dies, an

embossing folder, some paper twine, 2 snowflakes & a sprinkle of glitter!

Sharing an Oldie this Friday!

Hi crafters......hope you're all well!

Are you feeling all Christmas-y yet? All a bit manic here right now

but I think, at least I hope I'm on the home straight now. I'm looking to

get everything done by the end of next week at the very latest so's I

can have a bit of a breather before the big day lol,

Today I'm joining in over at Erika's where we're invited to 'share an oldie'..

.....an oldie of the craft variety, that is lol! This week I'm sharing my

marker holder....I made this a while ago (there's a page on my blog

 here).....I was so chuffed to see my lovely blog buddy Sandra was inspired 

enough by this to make one of her own I decided to share it today.

I've since made another to hold my Copic markers, I could have just added

onto this one but as they're in 2 different places it made more sense

to make a separate one.

It's a blue Christmas with Sparkles Christmas Challenges!

Morning crafters.......hope you're all well!

Can you believe it's December 1st already......oooh, I'm so excited,

I love this time of the year.....all the rushing around, the shopping, the

food lol and the lists......I have lists for everything & anything!

We're putting our Christmas tree up today & once Miss Rebecca gets

in from school we'll decorate it.....if you listen carefully you'll

probably hear us singing along to some Christmas tunes then once 

everyone is home tonight there'll be the 1st mince pie of the

season.........and maybe a small glass of Bailey's too!!

So today I have my Dt make for the last Sparkles Christmas challenge

of the year......our lovely leader Shaz chose the theme, she chose

IT'S A BLUE BLUE CHRISTMAS

A nice, easy theme for me cos I love blue for Christmas....... I love tags

too & never have enough so it was an easy choice to make tags!

They were so quick & easy to make too......scraps, a die cut snowflake,

border punch, gems & a piece of ribbon & that's it......done! 

As usual, you can make anything you like just so long as it fits the

theme & you have all month to play.......and for your inspiration we have

some gorgeous Dt makes over on the main blog here.
