February ATC / Love/Hearts

Morning lovelies.....hope you're all well!

Today I'm sharing the ATC I made for the little swap group I run.....

.....this one is from February & the theme was Love/Hearts.

If you're thinking this looks familiar you'd be right lol......I recently

made a book cover & a Valentine's card using the same design!

Once the ATC was cut to size I distressed the edges of the green paper,

layered it up with some muslin, added a die cut heart, a stamped

sentiment and a gem........and that's it!

Here's a pic of some of the ATC's I received from February's swap,

aren't they great? One theme, so many great makes!

Rightio, my friends.......grocery shopping for me today! Whatever you're

Teddy Bears with Sparkles Challenges!

Morning lovelies, hope you're all well.......and a very happy Mother's Day

to all you lovely Mum's.....isn't it the best job in the world?

So midway through the month only means one thing......a new challenge at

Sparkles

and this time the theme as chosen by our lovely teamie,  Helen is

TEDDY BEARS

So why, you're thinking, did I use a dog???? Well, I chose the image, made

the card, photographed the card, added it to the Dt blog........and still

didn't realise it's actually a dog and not a teddy bear lol.

So sorry to Shaz & the team......but it did give my daughter a good laugh

........and even she hadn't realised it was a dog lol!!

Anyway, back to business.......we're lucky enough to have 2 sponsors

again this month.........7 digis from Bugaboo

and a £10 voucher to spend over at Crafty Bren's

I made a Christmas card this time, nice & flat for posting this card will

be saved for the Charity shop where my Son works. The image is LOTV

and all other bits & pieces are from my stash.

Add some Metal with Crafty Calendar!

Morning friends........hope you're all well!

Another cold, damp & dreary day here on the Yorkshire Coast so don't

 think I'll be venturing out........I think maybe a nice, lazy craft-ernoon

 is called for.....once Miss Rebecca gets herself out of bed, that is!

So today being the st Saturday of the month means a new challenge at

CRAFTY CALENDAR

where the theme this time is ADD SOME METAL!

Our sponsor this month is our lovely Kimberley who is offering a gift

certificate to any online store!!! 

I made a book cover this time......this is for my son Cam & so 

embellishments had to be kept to a minimum lol. My added metal is the

little cameo & was gonna be the rings I ordered to hold the book pages

 together only they didn't arrive in time!!

Share an Oldie Friday!

Morning friends.....hope you're all well!

Well, here we are again.......it's Friday.....and that means it's time to 

'Share an Oldie' with Erika over at Snappycrafts. Today I have a

wall hanging I made for Miss Rebecca.....she always tells me

'I love you right round the world & back again'

so this image from D'Arcy's Diaries was just perfect for her!

Hearts and Happy Birthday, Nic!!!

Hi friends......hope you're all well!

Last year I joined a Facebook group, now I'm not much use with

Facebook but I do try lol! We had an ATC swap & more recently we've

just finished the pages for a book swap...........each person involved

chooses a theme then everyone else makes a page for each theme.

Once they're all done our lovely leader who organised the whole thing

made a cover for each book! Once we receive our books I'll be able

to show you more but for now I will share my page.

I chose hearts for my theme & I'm so excited to see my book....

.....it's gonna be something to treasure, that's for sure!

So for my page I layered a piece of pink paper over some kraft card,

swiped some white acrylic paint over it then added some muslin.

I cut the heart from corrugated kraft card, added more white paint then

tied the ribbon....a handwritten sentiment, a die cut flower & that's it!

So that's it for today......we have more Birthday celebrations.......my
youngest son Nic is 16 today......all 6 foot 2 of him.......and you know
what that means......yep, more birthday cake!!!!

Make it Green with Sparkles Christmas!

Morning crafters.....hope you're all well!

Today is new challenge day over at Sparkles Christmas Challenges and

this month the theme as chosen by our lovely teamie Jennifer is

MAKE IT GREEN

I made a card to add to my little Christmas stash, dare I say it but I

just KNOW it's gonna be here before we now it! Nice & flat for posting,

I used an image from Oddball Art, coloured with Copics, papers from

Dovecraft, punched snowflakes & a computer generated sentiment.

March 2015 ATC Swap - Steampunk!

Morning friends......happy March 1st!

Time for a new ATC swap theme & this month we're going with

STEAMPUNK

As usual, ATC's should be 3.5 x 2.5 inches, you make & send me 4 & once

everyone's arrive I'll send you 4 back.....and if you could enclose a

stamped addressed envelope that would be great!
