Hi guys, well here we are at the halfway point of Kairen's craft/blog every day
in June challenge & today's prompts are:
Day 15: Tell us how you got into crafting OR Craft something that's pink
I think I've crafted forever! I remember when I was probably about 10 I made lots of
paper flowers for the owner of our sweetie shop! I remember learning to knit & doing
odd bits of hand sewing with my Nan from a very early age & I remember crotcheting
flowers & square's too though I have no idea who taught me & I still can't follow a pattern!
I remember learning the basics of sewing & dressmaking at school, something I wish
I'd followed through secondary school & college.......but something I'm really gonna
try this Summer hols! Papercrafting came much later although I suppose really I've come
full circle...........almost 40 years on & I'm still making paper flowers lol!
How did you get into crafting?

I am hopeless at sewing but would love to be able to use my machine I bought from C&C some time ago, I should make an effort .

Like you Jo I think I have always crafted in one way or another. Use to do loads of cross stitch but only do a little bit now due to not being able to hold the needle etc thats how I got into papercrafting. I crochet baby blankets when I was having my eldest but I would now love to crochet flowers but cant remember how to crochet !!!!!

I think as crafters Jo we are all just about the same in having had a go at almost everything at sometime in our lives. Great to read your story. Sorry for not having been here much - life gets busy!!!!
