Washi Wednesday 2019 - Christmas in July #3

Morning crafty friends....hope you're all well.

It's the first Wednesday of the month....and day 3 of my Christmas in July

challenge so I thought to combine the two I'd make a couple of 4x4 card toppers.

You know how much I love my Washi tape & these makes are very similar 

last months.....I just wanted to show that you could change the colour, 

pattern & embellishment and get a completely different look.

I used a random mix of tapes, stamped a sentiment, added a die cut & mounted

onto gold mirri for a super quick, super effective card topper.....and they're

so cute!

Washi Wednesday!

Ooh, it's the 1st Wednesday of the month and you know what that means?

You got it.......its WASHI WEDNESDAY!!

My time to share ideas & inspiration on how to use that lovely tape we call Washi!

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best and so that's what I went with this

month. Two mini 4x4 inch Christmas cards, 3 rolls of tape, 2 die cut snowflakes

and I finished with a faux gem in the centre of each flake......oh, and a

stamped sentiment....so super quick & easy I think I'll be making more of these!

Washi Wednesday #1 2019

Hi friends, happy Wednesday.....hope you're all well & managing

some well deserved crafty time!

You know I'm always on a mission to use up stash....well, with that in

mind (and after a couple of requests) I decided to bring back Washi Wednesday.

I LOVE washi tape, have way too much of it but don't use it often enough so

last year I started Washi Wednesday but what with health issues I couldn't keep

 it up. So, I'm going to try again......here's what I'm going to try and do......on the

 1st Wednesday of each month a new washi tape make, hopefully.with a simple 

tutorial.........so long as the main focus is washi tape it could be anything!

So the first post if the first post I shared last year....a simple but (I think) very

effective card that could be used for any occasion. Card covered with washi tape

then cut with a banner die, stuck to the base card then a double ended banner

with a die cut word on top...super simple and super quick!
