Heart to heart

Morning all, hope you are well.

A big hello, welcome and thank you to my new followers, i so appreciate you calling!

 Another miserable, damp, dark day here but still no snow!!!

Today's card was to be a clean & simple look but i think i ended up with too many layers!!

My son decided he wanted a red & white Valentine's card but nothing too fancy, just a white card with a red heart - then he saw the spotty paper that's so old i'd forgotten i had it and decided he wanted some of that on, then he decided he wanted 2 hearts(both die cut), oh, and don't forget a piece of ribbon, he said!! Oh yes, that's lovely, he said but i like it when you thread ribbon through a button, too!!

 So this is what he ended up with!!

Waste not Wednesday on Friday!!

Good afternoon my crafty friends, hope you're all keeping well and warm!

Now  I know it's Friday but I just wanted to share the card I made for Waste not Wednesday's over on Lisa's blog (Wishcraft). It's a great idea Lisa had to encourage us to use our unused stamps and digis,  hop on over and link up - then go peek at all the others!!

 This week I used a fab digi from Pollycraft, flex/promarkers, foiled paper from DCWV, furry twine, pearls and punched flowers! 

Whilst rooting through my papers I found a 12 x 12 paper stack called Butterflies & Blossoms from DCWV!

 Can't believe I'd not used a single piece  - so I spent a lovely afternoon making some bunting with it for Rebecca's bedroom!

Well, that's another week almost over - can you believe it's February next week???

What's on your workdesk Wednesday #138

Morning all, can't believe how fast Wednesday comes around and the chance to join in with Julia over at the Stamping ground - go check it out, its FAB! - there's nothing better than grabbing a coffee and settling down for a good old nosey into other people's work spaces!

So, what's on my workdesk today? A mess, that's what!

Tubs of tools, bow maker, ink, tape runner, a lid from a tube of glue that i spent ages looking for!!!

There's 3 stamps i've just inked for the 1st time, a few stamped images.

Some die cut toppers that i've recycled from shop bought cards i received and hope to use soon!

Just sneaking in top left you might just see the edge of a DT card - coming soon!

Glasses - i spend more time looking for these than i do wearing them lol!

A bag of gold coloured hooks??? Why, when or how these ended up on my desk i have 

absolutely no idea!!

Then there's some wooden letters and some decopatch paper - 

 this was a Christmas pressie for my daughter, Rebecca (Bex) - we were going to start it at the weekend but have decided to save it for half term.

Right in the middle there's a teeny weeny pinky purple coloured crocheted flower handmade by me!!

ATC's on the brain!

Morning you crafty bloggers and a big welcome to my new followers!

Hope you are all well and looking forward to a lovely weekend whatever you're doing!

I'm going to have a craft weekend with my lovely daughter, Rebecca, and try and get

 caught up with a few bits and bobs!

Just wanted to share this ATC with you - ATC's are all i can think about at the min - good job they are fairly quick and easy to make lol!

I've used scraps for this and just layered some white card and zebra print paper, printed out this fab mannequin image (not sure where i got this image)  roughly cut it out and glued it down. Trimmed ATC with some bright pink ribbon and added pink bow to dress!

Was going to somehow add this onto a card but i think Rebecca has claimed it!

GDT card for Fairytale challenge blog

Morning everyone and happy Friday!!

It's nearly the weekend and i'm so looking forward to a lie-in!

Think this is the 1st weekend for ages that we've got nothing planned so we're gonna stay indoors, have some nice food and just chill - and i might just manage a little craft time with my Rebecca!

So, today's card is my GDT card for Fairytale Challenge blog and this fortnight the theme

is "At the Movies". We can't wait to see what you come up with - if you're stuck for ideas why not hop on over and check out the team's fab creations. There's a fab prize up for grabs, too!
As usual, you have 2 weeks to play so come on, it's worth a shot and you never know, you just might be the lucky winner!!

For my card i chose the movie "Grease". I went with an easel card, matted and layered some red & black card and layered up some fab rock & roll decoupage. I highlighted the top layer with promarkers, punched a border on some black card, added some red ribbon and silver peel off music notes and that's it!
Everything i used for this card came from my stash - i promised myself i would make at least 1 item per week using only stash - well this week i've made 2!!

Beer Monster!

Hi bloggers! Hope you all well.

Oooo it's cold, wet and dark here today, got the supermarket shop done then had a play

 in my nice warm craft room!

 Today's card is made using a Pollycraft image - Beer Monster - isn't he fab?
And he's just perfect for my friend's other half who's going to be 50 next week!
 He's been living in my laptop for ages just waiting for the right time - then along came
Lisa's and Waste not Wednesdays.
 The idea is to use your poor un inked stamped and un printed digis, pop along to Lisa's and link up then you can go check out all the other entries!

I've coloured him with flex/promarkers and matted and layered him onto lime green card,
3 pieces of card candy and he's good to go!
