Well  I'm ashamed to say the lure of the craft room

was too strong so I didn't get the ironing finished yesterday,

I finished this card instead he he!

The images have been cut out & coloured for far too long

and really needed to be made into something.....how

could I resist? All made (apart from the gems) using bits from 

my bit box as well! So now I really need to go finish

the ironing......hope you all have a lovely day, I'll maybe

see you tomorrow!

A card for a male today using a fab digi from Kenny K,

 I coloured this ages ago using promarkers

then left it sat in a drawer for far too long! Papers are from

My Memories, scallop circle is cut using a Sizzix die and

the buttons are from my stash! No sentiment yet as I'm not

 sure when & who this card is going to! 

Rightio, that's me done for today, maybe see you

tomorrow........once the ironing's done I'm gonna go play!

where the theme is "Make a gift/anything but a card".

For my DT project I decided to decorate this giant peg!
I won it in a lovely candy from Debbie (thank you!) about
a year ago and now it's hanging from a shelf in my
lovely new craft room!

Sparkles Challenges.....Away with the fairies!

Morning friends! 

Here I am today with my DT make for the new challenge over
at Sparkles Challenges where the theme is
"Away with the fairies" I'm a day late due to problems
with my camera's memory card but better late
 than never! We're sponsored this time by the fabulous
 Di's digis with a $10 prize!

Don't forget we are a multi crafts blog so we'd love to see all
 kinds of crafty makes just so long as they follow the theme!
And if you're in need of inspiration then look no further than our
 main challenge blog. I'd originally made a card for the challenge
 but due to problems with the cameras memory card I couldn't
get the photo and couldn't re-take it cos I'd already posted
the card! So I made an ATC to go with the
 one Miss Rebecca made.....she wants to make a set
of ATC's using all the LOTV die cut fairies! I used some
dark green card, a fairy named Moss, some ribbon, pearls, a
 flower and lots of glitter!
So that's it for me today....off to watch my boy play rugby!

Anya shopping

Morning everyone, hope you're all well & rested after the 

weekend! Haven't managed to get much done in the craft room

 recently but I do have a birthday card to share. I used one of 

my fav Anya stamps coloured with promarkers, a Marianne die, 

some blue card, gems, punched flowers, chipboard letters and

 paper from the new Nitwits/LOTV paper pads!

So that's it for today, got lots to do - washing, ironing, food

shopping.....oh, happy days!

At last.........

Well, they've gone.....all dressed up and more excited than me lol!

 And don't they scrub up well?

Somehow I don't think they'll come home looking this tidy, do you?

First out the door at 8am sharp..........

my handsome sons, Chris (15) & Nic (13) aka Bert & Ernie, Herb & Sherb

or any other  names that come in two's! They share a room, are always together and are as daft as brushes, the pair of 'em!

followed by Miss Rebecca at 8.35am prompt!

She even managed to talk her Brother, James into buying her

a new school bag........she didn't tell him she'd already got 3!!!!!

So that's my proud Mama Jo moment for today!

Didn't know what to do with myself this morning......craft or iron.........iron

or craft? So I did nowt, had a cup of tea & a biscuit (or two) and decided to blog hop!

Oooo, that's the life!

Autumn colours at Lexi's Creations

Morning friends, happy September!!!!

It's coming up to my favourite months of the year.....I love Autumn & Winter......the dark nights, the dark mornings, wearing boots, scarves & huge woolly jumpers. Filling the slow cooker with stew, Halloween, the smell of Bonfire night, crunchy golden leaves! Watching my Nic play rugby on cold frosty mornings.....ooo, I could go on & on & on...........!!

 So bearing that in mind the new challenge over at Lexi's Creations where the theme is

"Autumn Colours" is right up my street!

We have the fabulous My Heart Pieces sponsoring us this time with a prize of  3 digis, you have until

September 15th to play and you can make any craft item you like just so long as it 

fits the theme!

                                                               

As usual, you can see some fantastic inspiration from my lovely teamies over on the main

challenge blog.........do pop over, you won't be disappointed!

I used the sugar & spice paper & chipboard flowers from Dovecraft for my card, some chocolate

 brown card, a cream doily edged with walnut ink, some gingham ribbon,  & that's it!

That's it from me for today......going to get the school uniforms ironed......don't know who's more

excited - me or the kids!
