For you......

Good morning.....happy Monday! Hope you're all well & rested after the 

weekend. It's another gorgeous, breezy day here......perfect for 

drying my mountain of washing!! So for today I have another 

postage friendly card to share.....created in Serif using one of their fab, 

free digikits called All that Glitters. I usually print these cards at

6x6 inches then trim slightly & mount on a card blank and they look

gorgeous! It's great to be creating digitally again......I'm gradually

building up digi kits, etc., again after losing most everything

a while ago so watch this space lol. Rightio, better dash - Miss

Rebecca is going to Summer school 10-3 this week....don't you

think that's a fab idea, it's to help her settle in ready for September when

she moves up to secondary school? I do, and luckily she does too!

Inspiration photo with Christmas Stampin' All Year Long!

Hiya....happy Friday! I'm here today to let you know about the new

challenge over at Christmas Stampin' All Year long where this week

we have a gorgeous inspiration pic for you!

What inspires you....maybe the colours, the shapes.....even

that sweet little penguin? I went with the penguin & the colours, although 

on my card they don't seem to be very vibrant.......IRL they're fab!

I used papers that were free with a mag, kraft, paper ribbon, the sentiment

was computer generated & I used Spectrum Noir pens....oh, and the 

sweet little penguin comes from Bugaboo who is our sponsor this week.

 Bugaboo are very kindly offering one lucky

winner a whopping 7 digis of their choice!!! As usual, there's more fantastic

Summer Sunshine Fun at Nutcrafters!

Well good morning!! Happy Wednesday to you all...I know I say it often but 

I seriously can't believe how quickly these weeks are going! We're onto a 

new challenge over at Nutcrafters today & this time the theme, as chosen by 

our lovely boss, Katie is "Summer Sunshine Fun". As usual, we have fabby 

prizes: 1st place: A whopping £10 to spend at the Nutcrafters store - 

you must use a Nutcrafters image to be in with a chance and don't forget 

there's a freebies page on the main blog!

2nd place: 2 digi stamps or 1 stamp sheet of your choice

subject to availability!

For my card I used the fab Grandma & Grandpa Summer set! Aren't they 

great.....a real British seaside sight.....Grandma with her sunburnt 

shoulders & Grandpa with his handkerchief on his head......and of course, 

those wonderful striped deckchairs! And I just had to print out the 

words to that song.......all together now.......Oh, I do like to be beside the 

seaside....oh, I do like to be beside the sea! It always makes me

 laugh when I hear that song as it's the song my Son, Nics' rugby team sing 

when they win......15 smelly, sweaty boys singing their hearts out......I love it!

Christmas in July with Lexi's Creations!

Hiya......Happy Monday....hope you're all well!

We have a new challenge for you today over at Lexi's Creations

and this time the theme is "Christmas in July".......can you believe

we're nearer to this Christmas than last......scary, right?? It 

always makes me smile when us crafters are busy making Christmas

 things as the sun shines.....suits me fine though cos I don't like the 

heat....would much rather be in my nice cool craft room!

Anyway, enough waffle from me......we're sponsored this time

As usual, we love to see any & all crafty makes....tags, cards,

then when I printed it out I heat embossed the image.....doesn't 

show up too well on here but IRL it looks gorgeous & a non

traditional colour combo this time for a change too! Don't forget

Crafty Calendar July - colour challenge!

Good Morning, hope you're all well & having a fab week!

It's a bit cooler here today, thank goodness, so maybe an hour or two 

in the garden for me later! But first, here's my card for the Crafty Calendar 

July challenge - I know I'm late (sorry ladies) but things are back to
 normal....or as normal as they'll ever be lol so I thought I'd post
my card as a mid challenge reminder! The theme

this time is "colours of sand & sea", other colours as well if you want but the 

main colours are to be sea & sand colours! We have a fantastic sponsor

Technique time at CSAYL!

Hiya, happy Friday........bet you're all ready for the weekend!

We have a new challenge for you today over at 

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

and this week the theme is "Papercrafting Techniques"

Each of the CSAYL designers chose their favourite technique this

week and now you just need to pick one of the teams faves & play along!

We're sponsored this time by the fabby Broken Box Stock with a 

prize of 3 digis for our lucky winner & you have until 24th July to play.

The DT were lucky enough to choose a digi to play....I chose the

sweet Santa Hat Cat and I made a scallop circle easel card....maybe more 

of a fancy fold than a technique but I think it's a fab, quick & easy 

make & always looks good! I used Spectrum Noir pens, a few 

snowflakes, ribbon, gems, a computer generated sentiment and that's
