Fav colour combo with Sparkles Christmas Challenges!

Morning my lovely blog friends.....and what a beautiful JUNE morning it is!

Almost halfway through the year already and by now lots of us crafters are

already thinking about Christmas......eeek! Over at Sparkles Christmas Challenges

we run monthly Christmas themed challenges, any craft is good so long as it

fits that months' theme! You have all month to play & we usually have a fantastic

sponsor prize - this month it's either 1 stamp/1 die OR 2 dies from: 

So, this month I got to choose the theme and I chose  FAVOURITE COLOUR COMBO

An easy choice for me cos although I'm fairly traditional when it comes to 

Christmas my favourite colour combo is blue & brown! Why is it my fav? Well, firstly,

it just is lol....I think it works for male themed cards as well as female & living in a house

with 5 sons it's quite a well used combo in our home decor as well. My sitting room is

a darker brown, with cream & soft blue bits & pieces....it's so restful I love it!

Anyway, enough waffle, back to my card..........Lots of layers, some handmade

paper flowers, wooden snowflake embellies, die cuts.......all my fav Christmas craft things

 on one little card! As usual, there's some gorgeous inspiration over on the main blog

It's wrap time!

Morning lovelies, happy Friday and I hope you're all well!

Last day of half term here and guess what.......yep, the rain has stopped and

the sun is out! Got to be honest though.....the more it rains the more crafty

time I get lol! So today I'm sharing a wrap bracelet, it's wraps twice

around my wrist & fastens with that gorgeous silver button! Love this, looks

great with anything & can be made with any colour bead/cord/button combination!

Rightio, off to make the most of the weather......and get the washing out.....oh,

Animals/Insects with Nutcrafters!

Morning my crafty friends, hope you're all well!

It's raining today....a lot......and guess where I'm going......yep, to get my hair

cut......isn't that just typical lol......good job I've got a big brolly!!!!

Anyway, back to business.....and as it's Wednesday I have my Nutcrafters Dt

make to share & this fortnight the theme is ANIMALS/INSECTS!

I tried (again) to make a CAS card this time & I do quite like it, still need lots

of practice & need to sit on my hands to stop myself adding more & believe it or 

not it took me nearly as long to make as my other cards!!!!

Purple + studs = Miss Rebecca!

Morning lovelies.....hope you're all well & had a lovely, long weekend!

We had lovely weather but today? Today the rain's back.....and I don't mind,

I love to sit in my craft room, rain falling at the patio doors........it's so quiet

& peaceful, feels like a different world........but then sometimes I NEED my

music on........the louder & heavier the better!

So this morning I have another little bracelet to share, this time a purple, studded

shambala style......and methinks this will be finding a home in Miss Rebecca's

room! I love making these style of bracelets, they're so quick & easy & I love 

that you can wear lots of them all stacked up!

On the Darker Side with Delicious Doodles!

Morning crafty bloggers & happy Friday  from a very wet, wet, wet Yorkshire Coast!

Today is Team B's turn on the Delicious Doodles challenge blog & this week it's

ON THE DARKER SIDE..........yep, that's right.......we want to see your deepest,

darkest makes......and remember, it doesn't have to be just a card!

I used the super scary Angel of Death and I can tell you I sooo don't want to be seeing

him anytime soon, that's for sure! Backing paper is Pile 'o Bones & I used a barbed

wire embossing folder for a bit of extra interest.....a computer generated sentiment and

a spellbinder die cut cross with a little red pearl & and that's it! So come, let your darker

Woke up to a poorly daughter & rain this morning so think I'll be staying
