Mixed Media Monday

Morning lovely crafters & bloggers.....hope you're all well.
Did you have a lovely weekend? Bit of a strange one here but not to worry,
things will hopefully settle down soon. So as it's Monday you know what
that means......Mixed Media Monday.....time to share all your mixed media
 makes! I'm very much a beginner, I just love to play so any hints & tips
you might like to share will be most welcome. Today's make is for one of
my sons....Cameron loves all things steampunk & this wooden letter C  had
been sat in a drawer just waiting to be used. I started with a coat of Gesso,
added paint then some stamping. Most of the pieces are die cuts, I just inked,
stamped, painted......you name it, I did it...until I got the look I was after then
added some lengths of chain & some metal embellies. I'm not sure this piece
 is finished.....I just think it needs something else but not sure what....what do

Back to School with Oddball Art!

Hi friends, happy Saturday......hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Sharing an Oldie this Friday

Hi friends.....happy Friday!
Well, would you believe it.....we're on the last Friday in August
already......how the year is flying past. So today is share an oldie day,
craft style......mine is from about 3 years ago made using a Gorjuss girl.
Love those girls and oh my, the Gorjuss papers are beautiful too.

Mixed Media Monday #2

Hi friends......hope you're all well & had a lovely weekend.
Still way too hot for my liking but not to worry, cooler days will be here
soon enough. So some of you may know I decided last week that Monday
is now Mixed Media Monday. Mixed Media is probably my favourite kind of
art/craft but something I just don't do enough of so the idea is that if I put it
 out there, name the day & spread the word then I really have to stick to
 it.....eeek!!
For today I simply sprayed some ink, watched it spread then grabbed the
1st things to hand....there was no reason to it, well, the colour I chose but the
rest was just random.......and what great messy, inky, painty fun I had!

Friendship......

Morning lovelies.....hope you're all well!
It's a beautiful day here on the Yorkshire Coast.....the sun is shining, there's a
lovely breeze & I have washing on the line! Doesn't take much to make me
happy well, not the sun shining part but definitely the washing!
So today I have another 'just because' card to share...the simplest of cards
to make and again using my colours of the moment.....I promise to mix it up
a little next time cos although I love black I suspect some of you might be
getting slightly sick of seeing it lol!
That's it from me.....jobs done,  I'm gonna jump in the shower then it's
