It's wrap time!

Morning lovelies, happy Friday and I hope you're all well!

Last day of half term here and guess what.......yep, the rain has stopped and

the sun is out! Got to be honest though.....the more it rains the more crafty

time I get lol! So today I'm sharing a wrap bracelet, it's wraps twice

around my wrist & fastens with that gorgeous silver button! Love this, looks

great with anything & can be made with any colour bead/cord/button combination!

Rightio, off to make the most of the weather......and get the washing out.....oh,

Animals/Insects with Nutcrafters!

Morning my crafty friends, hope you're all well!

It's raining today....a lot......and guess where I'm going......yep, to get my hair

cut......isn't that just typical lol......good job I've got a big brolly!!!!

Anyway, back to business.....and as it's Wednesday I have my Nutcrafters Dt

make to share & this fortnight the theme is ANIMALS/INSECTS!

Purple + studs = Miss Rebecca!

Morning lovelies.....hope you're all well & had a lovely, long weekend!

We had lovely weather but today? Today the rain's back.....and I don't mind,

I love to sit in my craft room, rain falling at the patio doors........it's so quiet

& peaceful, feels like a different world........but then sometimes I NEED my

music on........the louder & heavier the better!

So this morning I have another little bracelet to share, this time a purple, studded

shambala style......and methinks this will be finding a home in Miss Rebecca's

room! I love making these style of bracelets, they're so quick & easy & I love 

that you can wear lots of them all stacked up!

Morning crafty bloggers & happy Friday  from a very wet, wet, wet Yorkshire Coast!

Today is Team B's turn on the Delicious Doodles challenge blog & this week it's

ON THE DARKER SIDE..........yep, that's right.......we want to see your deepest,

darkest makes......and remember, it doesn't have to be just a card!

I used the super scary Angel of Death and I can tell you I sooo don't want to be seeing

him anytime soon, that's for sure! Backing paper is Pile 'o Bones & I used a barbed

wire embossing folder for a bit of extra interest.....a computer generated sentiment and

a spellbinder die cut cross with a little red pearl & and that's it! So come, let your darker

side out to play & join us......you could be the lucky winner of 5 of Teri's fab images!

Bit of a change in the weather here today & there's thunder storms forecast

for later......eeeek! Don't mind the thunder just so long as I'm indoors & we have 2

 dogs who are terrified of it so I don't think I'll be going far! Thanks ever so much for

all your lovely comments on my mini canvas yesterday......can't wait to get started

on another one......maybe I'll be brave & try bigger this time too lol!

Today I have a digital scrap page to share...........no pic yet cos I was asked not

to share that but it's ok to share the page! I used my favourite colour combo of

blue & brown & elements from a Daisy Trail kit called Vintage Summer. Just

perfect I think for a pic of a couple.....not too masculine & not too feminine either.

So that's it from me for today.....gonna try & get a couple more pages done to go with

Just dream!

Good morning crafters, bloggers & friends.......hope you're all well.......and

had a fantastic weekend too! Something a little bit different from me today, I've

wanted to have a go at a canvas for ages, got myself all excited.......then didn't have

a clue where to start lol. So I started small, with a mini canvas & this is the end result

 & for a 1st attempt I'm quite pleased. First I covered the canvas with gesso, the

turquoise is done with mica powders & wow, I love that stuff, then when dry I inked

 the edges with a grey ink pad.  A simple die cut heart inked with grey & a stamped 

sentiment from Visible Image also painted with mica & inked with grey & that's it..

......I did want to add something else but not sure what so just left it as is. Can't wait to 

have another go......Miss Rebecca has already got her order in! 

A bit THANK YOU to you lovely people who sent Rebecca birthday wishes

& cards......they're fabulous & so appreciated.....she had a lovely day, was spoilt

rotten.......and ate huge amounts of cake lol!

Happy Birthday Rebecca!

Good morning lovely crafters.......it's a beautiful morning here on the Yorkshire Coast & 

we're all feeling bright & chirpy too cos it's Miss Rebecca's birthday.......12 years old

 already......I don't know how come the years get to fly past so quickly, it's soooo not

 fair.....she's gonna be all grown up before I know it! I really enjoyed making her

 card, her fav colours are black & purple so it was easy....lots of lovely layers, handmade

 flowers & just real pretty & girly even though it is black lol! Rightio, that's all from me for

Hugs, CAS style!

Morning crafty friends.....hope you're all well & having a lovely weekend!

We're off to watch our Nic play rugby soon but just wanted to share my latest

attempt at a CAS card! The brief was nothing fancy, use green & cuddles.....well

I changed the cuddles to hugs, raided my scrap drawer for some green bits, added

a couple seed beads & pearls & that's it........and phew, they loved it! 

Rightio, we're off to brave the muddy field.....and maybe shout a bit too lol....

not that Nic ever hears me....he's way too focused on the game......but we shout
