Tim's Tags of 2015 - February

Morning crafty friends.....hope you're all well!

I was thinking last night how quickly these 1st two months of the

year had gone and suddenly remembered I hadn't done my February

tag for Tim's tag challenge,,,,,so here's my last minute attempt....flying by

 the seat of my pants as seems to be the norm for me right now lol.

I am quite happy with it although I think I was maybe a little heavy

handed with the distress paint!!

Rightio my friends....I'm gonna have a crafty weekend with my girlie...

.....if she ever gets our of her bed, that is! I have a feeling the 1st words

out of her mouth today will 'Muuummmm, come watch the Sewing

bee with me!'......we have a couple of episodes to catch up on & I

can't think of many better ways to spend a dreary, cold afternoon!

Share an Oldie Friday!

Morning lovelies.......happy Friday, I for one am glad it's almost the

weekend.......I've been so busy this week!

So as it's Friday it's time to pop over to Erika's at Snappycrafts & join in 

with sharing an oldie......I'm sharing a bookmark I made for Miss Rebecca,

 she's such an avid reader, well we both are but she has lots of

 bookmarks and uses them whereas I'm ashamed to say I turn down the

corner of the page!!!We do both have Kindles & while I love mine I

think you can't beat the smell & the feel of a nice book!

I used an image from D'Arcy's Diaries coloured with Spectrum Noirs,

a couple of punched flowers, a die cut heart, gems, ribbon & some

doodling & that's it......oh, and the sentiment was computer generated.

Just for You.....

Morning friends.......how are you all today? Well, I hope.

Didn't think I'd be so bright eyed after my 50th birthday celebrations

yesterday but thankfully I am because it's my boy Cameron's

21st today.........ooooh, more cake lol!!!

For today's card I used an image from D'Arcy's Diaries......and it ended up

so far away from what I originally planned but I think that's probably

a regular thing for us crafters lol......and I know there's a bit of a

bling overload but once I started I just couldn't stop!!!

I think the papers are from MME, I added a doily, die cuts from

Marianne, Cheery Lynn & La La Land & I coloured the image with Copics

So before I go I just wanted to share what I woke up to yesterday morning.....

....just some of the gorgeous flowers I received.......I was sooooo spoilt!

Friday again & time to share an oldie with Erika over at Snappycrafts..

.....I love this weekly look back over past creations. If you fancy joining in

just head over to Erika's & link up too! The card I'm sharing is from last

year, a Dt make for a challenge blog that's now sadly closed down.

The papers were freebies with a mag, image is Sugar Nellie, the sentiment

stamp is LOTV.....I made the paper flowers & then added a few

die cut/punched embellies & pearls.
I'd also like to say a big HELLO, welcome & thank you to my 2 new
followers, Cathy & Karen.......it's so great to have you here!

January ATC club - Birds

Morning lovelies....hope you're all well!

Today I'm sharing one of the ATC's I made for the little swap group I

run, this one is from January & the theme was Birds.

I started by covering my ATC base with a patchwork of Tim Holtz

papers & edged the joins with Caran d'Ache pastels. The bird is die cut

from kraft card & I've swiped some white paint over it then rubbed

off the excess.....doodled some feet & that's it.......done!

Love is......a good book!

Hi crafty bloggers.....hope you're all well!

It's a beautiful day here on the Yorkshire Coast, we have brilliant blue skies

but it's oh, so cold and best of all I have a line full of washing......simple

 pleasures lol! Anyway, I'm here to share a 'just because' card....I love this

image, my daughter can often be found reading in this very same pose!

I used image no 24 from Oddball Art & coloured her with my Copics.

The gorgeous glittery papers are called Kiss & Tell from Trimcraft & I 

finished with various butterflies (punched & diecut) and some

diecuts & embellishments from my stash! I decorated the inside too

although I forgot to take a pic so you'll just have to take my word for 

it lol. Rightio, off to play a bit more......I love half term!!

Love in lime green!

Good morning to you all......hope you're well!

Today I have a Valentine's card to share.....this one is for my friend

to give to his girlfriend......he is such an easy person to make cards for

as he is happy with anything lol. So this is the Valentine's card I made for

him....I chose the lime green cos that's the colour their sitting room

is and I thought it was a nice change from pink & red!!

 The kraft heart has been wiped with some white acrylic paint then I 

simply added some cheesecloth, a die cut flower & a chitchat sticker.

I layered it all up onto some paper from my scrap box & that was it.....

......quick & easy......and a real nice change from colouring an image!
