Frosty Moments

Hi crafty friends, hope you're all well & managing some crafty time.
Oh my, didn't realise just how far behind I am with my Christmas makes
for this year......only 3 months to go!! Not that I'm complaining, Autumn & Winter
are my favourite times of the year & I love all the preparations, all the hustle &
bustle, the shopping, the planning.....oooh, I love it all!
So today's make is a Christmas card, I have to be honest & say it looks much better
in real life.....there's lots of layers & sparkle.
I started with a base layer of kraft card, added elements from a Studio Light kit
page and the silver wreath is cut with a Sizzix die
Rightio, my friends, that's my lot for today. Thanks for calling....see you tomorrow.
There's still time to enter my CANDY if you'd like.

April 2018 Rudolph Days Challenge

Hi crafty friends......hope you're all well & warm!
Here we are on the last day of April & the weather feels like we should be in October......it's
so windy and freezing cold today!
Today I have  a Christmas card to share......just in time to join in with Scrappy Mo's Rudolph
Day's challenge, you can find all details here.
I used papers & topper from Craftwork cards, the chalkboard collection......some silver mirri, a couple die cut snowflakes, a couple banners & finished with some gems.
Love this paper collection & will definitely be making more as I do like adding a bit of tartan to my Christmas cards.......must be my Scottish roots lol!
Thanks for popping by today and for any comments you might leave......see you tomorrow!

Rudolph Days February 2018

Brrrr........it's a bit chilly here today..........and we have snow!
Sons College is closed as is Daughter's school so they're having a cheeky lie in........and once jobs are done I'm gonna have a crafty play!
I wanted to join in with Mo's Rudolph Days challenge again this month......had a bit of a panic on when I remembered it's a short month so had to get my thinking cap on!
I made the simplest of cards......a 6x6 card blank, a piece of coloured cardstock (I used adorable scorable) and a die cut snowflake panel. I layered them all up, stamped a greeting on a banner die cut then added a few gems......job done........and I love how the coloured card can be any colour, you could even make the card to match the recipients decor!!
Thanks for popping in......stay safe & warm.

Scrappymo's Rudolph Days Challenge!

Morning crafty friends......hope you're all well.
Did you have a lovely weekend? As usual, it flew past & I didn't get done half of what I wanted.......I did manage some baking though so that kept the troops happy lol!
So this year I was determined to join in with my friend Scrappymo's Rudolph Days Challenge where she invites us to enter a Christmas make every month........a great way to build up your Christmas card stash! I went with a non traditional colour combo this time & made a little 5x5 card. Lots of layers, some distressed, some silver mirri card for extra sparkle, a lovely die cut frame, die cut embellishments & finished with some faux pearls.......my 1st Christmas card of 2018!!
Rightio, better get going.......thanks for calling & whatever you're up to have a lovely day!
xx
