Well, I don't think I can take much more of this heat! I know...I'm a 

misery guts....it just makes me itchy and grumpy and a 

grumpy Mama Jo is not a good thing!

A potter about the garden is about as much as I can manage lol!

Just one more purple card......!

Wow, what a gorgeous day it was yesterday...was great to get the washing out

and see lovely blue sky for a change....looks quite promising for today, too!

So today I'm sharing the last of my purple cards, well, last for now, you know me...I just can't resist

purple! This is a "just because" card....I'll add a sentiment to it when I know where it's going - prob to one of Miss Rebecca's friends!

More housework today, bit more ironing, some washing....oh what an exciting life I lead!

Not complaining really, I'm quite happy with my lot and the sooner 

I get my jobs done, the sooner I can craft!

In a Nutshell!!

Morning, how are you today?

Well,I thought I'd save the purple for another day and share instead this pretty little 

flower easel card......in  pink! I think I could easily become obsessed with these little 

Nutshell stamps from Nutcrafters...they are just sooo cute! I made the white card base with my flower dies, layered it up with pink card and patterned paper, added some flourishes, pearls, flowers and the fab little image and that's it! 

Got the grocery shop to do today, some ironing, hopefully an hours craft, then gonna spend the evening catching up on all your fab blogs!

Black, purple and an emo named Bex!

My, oh my, what a day yesterday was!

 My sweet, kind, gorgeous, curly blonde haired Daughter has informed me that now she's 

10 years old she wants to be an EMO and a vegetarian!The vegetarian part I can cope with but the EMO part.....hmmmm.......still, don't suppose it really means much at 10, does it? I think emo is originally a genre of music and nowadays is associated with those that wear skinny jeans, striped tops, mostly black with a pop of bright colour and have straight, black hair! For Bex, it means she wants to wear black & purple, tights with shorts and have streaks in her hair lol! I think having big Brothers with tattoos and piercings, etc has finally caught up with her! At least we all like the same music, that's a big thing in our house! So for this little wall hanging I used the fab Nutcrafters stamp...I think she's called Mac.....she's coloured up perfectly in Bex's "emo" colours and she's now hanging on her bedroom wall keeping an eye on everything!

I think you're gonna be seeing a lot more of these fab images....I was lucky enough to win a challenge at Nutcrafters a couple months ago and so bought some gorgeous stamps/digis....great prices and fast delivery, too!

Then yesterday I was lucky enough to win again!!

It was a freebie over at Dude Time Doodles and I coloured it then missed the deadline for the

challenge......doh......typical me! So out of the box it came today and all that's been going through my head

all day is that song, you know, the one that goes"It must be love, love, love".....hence the love heart bunting!

Happy Birthday Rebecca!

Morning friends, today is a very special day in our house - Miss Rebecca

is 10 years old! Doesn't time fly.......doesn't seem like 2 minutes since she was born!

Rebecca is my youngest........5 boys then my little princess......and she rules them all lol!

She's gorgeous, always happy, loves to sleep in on weekends, loves our craft time,

she's addicted to American kids TV, she's just perfect!

Happy Birthday, Bex, we love you!

She just loves her Monster High dolls.....

and her eldest Brother, Richard!

Where did i put my glasses???

Good morning bloggers, how are you today? Well, i hope.
First, apologies for the terrible photo.....it was grey & dull all day yesterday!
In real life the papers are a gorgeous chocolate brown and soft pink with cream lace!

Just a quick post to

share my new glasses holder! When i'm crafting my glasses are on and off that many times and i always end up losing them amongst my stash.....i've even been known to accidently throw them out....ooops!

So, here's a little cardboard tube that my Son received his new sunglasses in ......not that we need sunglasses right now.... i've decorated it to match my promarker storage unit and it sits right there on

my desk just waiting for me to pop my glasses in!!!Just need to get into the habit of doing so, now lol!
