Down by the sea-ee!

Hiya, hope you're all well!
Are you all watching the Olympics? Wasn't the opening
ceremony fantastic? So proud of  Team GB but oh,
so sad for cyclist,  Mark Cavendish. I'm sat watching the
swimming now........with a big bag of chocolate......oops!
So, today's card is using the fab seaside duo digis
from Nutcrafters. Miss Rebecca made the background scene
of sky & sand with promarkers and the big, cheeky sunshine
is a sticker! I've used kraft for matting onto a 6 x 6 card blank.
Words, seagulls & doodling are done with a fine liner
and some rafia to finish!
Enjoy the rest of your evening, thanks for calling
and for any comments you may leave!

  4. Hi Jo, well aren't you and Miss Rebecca the best crafty team - fab card you've made! Love the scene she's created and your little chappie and the beachut are great.

Really like the Christmas and New Year cards as well, you are much better organised than me!!! I strongly object to making Christmas cards in any month other than December - but it does mean most of my cards are very, and I mean very!, Clean and Simple (otherwise known as quick!!!).

Hope you are having a good weekend.

  5. We crossed, I was leaving your message as you were leaving yours!

Cooler here too, but still no Christmas cards made!!!!

Emily is rather hyper at the moment, taking a bit of getting used to that she doesn't have to go to school and making the most of easy mornings and late nights! Been filling her days up, trying to tire her out - not working!

    Bet you're busy too!!!!

  8. So neat that you and Rebecca were able to make this together. Don't you just love creating with kids...

My girls and I did crafts together till they left home...they still drop by when they need to make something.
I remember that when they were teenagers we could chat about anything while their hands were busy and they didn't have to maintain any eye contact...My oh my, I learned some interesting tidbits!!!
