Non traditional Christmas colours at Sparkles Christmas challenges!

Good morning lovely bloggers.....happy September 1st!
There's a definite chill in the air this morning.....but I don't mind....I love this
time of the year....I'll be much happier in the next 6 months than I've been
in the last lol! Anyway, today's post is all about the new challenge over at
where the theme....as chosen by me....is "NON TRADITIONAL COLOURS"
We're sponsored this month by the very generous LOTV who are offering a
£10 spend instore and wow, the lucky winner is SO gonna be spoilt for choice!!
As usual, you have all month to play
and you don't have to make a card.......any crafty creation will do! And
don't forget......there's a wealth of inspiration over on the main blog from the
rest of the team led by our lovely Shaz!
Ooooh, I loved this challenge....while I'm very traditional when it comes
to Christmas I love all things gothic/dark and this is my favourite
alternative Christmas image this year....isn't she gorgeous? She's called
"Emo Christmas" and she's from Delicious Doodles.....although she
can be coloured very traditionally I went for pink/black (used to have my
hair that colour waaayyyy back) and yet again.....Miss Rebecca has
claimed this one lol! I coloured her with Spectrum Noir pens, used up some
scraps of paper, a giant die cut snowflake cut in half & glittered, a
computer generated sentiment, a few pearls & that's it......oh, and
lashings of glitter........and yes, it did get everywhere lol! Rightio, off
to do some ironing thanks for calling & hope to see you at Sparkles!
xx

  18. Beautifully coloured image Jo. Love the funky backing paper and black glittery snowflakes too!!

I am so the opposite of you. I dread the Winter, too cold and dank for me. I much prefer the Summer even if it has been a little too hot/humid on occasion.

  20. Fabulous image and colouring Jo! I'm with Lin I dislike winter very much! The short days and the struggle of driving on snow covered roads which turn to ice is not my idea of a good time:O)! However, happy that you will be happy lol!
