Anything Goes with Delicious Doodles!

Morning crafty bloggers, happy Friday...........hope you're all well!

I'm so sorry I've not been around much recently, we've had a few internet & telephone

problems which resulted in us having no internet for quite a while......not good in the
Summer holidays when most of the kids are all home! They all start back at school and
college from Monday so hopefully I'll manage a bit more crafty time......and maybe
even get stuck into some Christmas makes........eeeekkk......not long now lol!

So today I have my Dt make for the latest challenge over at Delicious Doodles
where the theme is ANYTHING GOES but don't forget, you have to use a Delicious
 Doodles image & you might be the lucky winner of 5 of Teri's fab images!

I love the chance to bring my darker side out & for this card I used the beautiful
bride, Rosita, my fav purples & blacks, some odds & ends from my stash & a computer
generated sentiment. As usual, there's some fab Dt makes over on the main blog & you
have until September 11th to play.....would love to see you there!

GDT with Creative Inspirations - Flower Power

Good morning crafters.....hope you're all well!

Today I'm sharing my last GDT make for Creative Inspirations..... this month

sure has flown past! The theme this week is FLOWER POWER & all the

I wanted to keep my card quite plain cos for once I'm quite pleased with

my colouring lol! The purple card was from my scrap box, flowers & gems from

 my stash & I coloured her with my Copics!

GDT with Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes!

Hi guys.......I'm here today with my GDT make for Creative Inspirations!

This week the theme is ANYTHING GOES with the option of a sketch......you

can use the sketch shown on the challenge post or any of the older ones........I

used sketch no 6 for my make. You can find all the challenge details, rules, sponsor

info & the gorgeous Dt makes here on the main challenge blog.

I used some of my favourite Gorjuss stash for my make, I layered the image up

3 times for extra dimension, added some handmade flowers & a Gorjuss

bow to finish.....no sentiment as yet cos I'm not sure where it's going!

A couple more bracelets!

Hi crafty bloggers......hope you're all well! 

I'm feeling a bit naughty this morning.......woke up before 7 as usual......then turned over &

went back to sleep.......and didn't get up til 9.15!!!!Bet I'll pay for it tonight though when

I won't be able to get to sleep lol!

Anyway, for today's make I have a couple more bracelets to share, again I've used up

odds & ends from the jewellery drawer (I'm sure they multiply while I'm not looking) &

my favourite waxed cotton cord. Thought they looked more for the boys but

once I tried them on I think us girlies could definitely wear them too. I have some of

the cream oval beads in green too so think that might be my next make!

Rightio, shopping day today so I better go get myself sorted......thanks for calling

Spread Your Wings & Fly!

Morning lovelies......hope you're all well & had a lovely weekend!

Miss Rebecca & me spent the weekend pottering in the craft room, we've been having

a play with inks, sprays, texture paste, gesso......oooh, all the lovely inky messy stuff! We've

been watching lots of mixed media tutorials, collecting hints & tips from you lovely bloggers

..........and I think we're hooked! Today's make is an 8x8 canvas, I made for Rebecca's wall, I'm 

quite pleased with how it turned out for a 1st attempt! I can see lots of things that aren't

 perfect,  lots of things I'd do different next time but you know what.....I love it, it suits Rebecca 

to a tee & looks fab on her purple bedroom wall! Would love to know what you

think......but be gentle with me lol! We'll definitely be having another play, Rebecca loves 

to draw & has plans to try an art journal!

Back to School with Sparkles Challenges!

Morning crafters.......hope you're well!

Well, it's only 3 weeks til the kids go back to school here & as usual the Summer

seems to have flown by.......it'll surely be Christmas before we know it!

So today being the 15th means we have a new challenge over at Sparkles

and I got to choose the theme.......I chose BACK TO SCHOOL!

As usual you can enter any & all crafts just so long as they meet the theme,

I used an image from the Paper Shelter for my card, coloured her with Spectrum

Noir pens & layered her on paper from my stash. Doilies & gems are also 

from my stash & the letters were cut with my Silhouette.

Anything Goes with Nutcrafters!

Hi crafters.....hope your Wednesday's going well! Just popping in to share my 2nd make

 of the day.........it's a busy day in blogland!

Today's make is a little reminder for the latest challenge going on over at Nutcrafters

I used one of the older Nutcrafters stamps, she's all ready for her 1st day back at

school/college.....wearing her fav skully t-shirt, her skinny jeans, her Converse & showing

 off her new hair colour lol!

This would SO be Miss Rebecca (except she has long hair) if she didn't have to wear

school uniform......although she has got some bright pink hair right now.....maybe I'll

have to post a pic tomorrow!

GDT with Creative inspirations - Under The Sea!

Morning lovely crafters......hope you're all well!

Today I have some great news to share......a few months ago I was asked if

I'd like to be the Guest Designer for August for Creative Inspirations.............well I

didn't need to think about it for too long lol & today I get to share my 1st make!

The theme for this week is UNDER THE SEA & you can find all the info &

the fantastic Dt makes here.

For my card I stamped the seahorse image & heat embossed it with black embossing

powder then coloured with Copics. All the papers, lace & string were oddments from

 my scrap box, the flowers from my stash & the flourish is a Cheery Lynn die cut.

I loved putting this card together, it's a bit different for me but I'm quite pleased

with it. Hope you can enter this week.....would love to see you there!

Believe in Magic!

Hi friends.......hope your Tuesday's going well!

I've been a bit fed up with my crafting lately, a bit fed up of making cards if I'm honest.

Don't get me wrong I do still love to craft but I seem to make endless amounts of

cards.......more than we ever need really and what with Mr Mojo disappearing

for weeks on end I've been looking at trying other crafts.....hence my bits of jewellery.

Making bracelets etc for my lot is easy, I know what they like & they usually like

whatever I make......but it's not ALL I want to make sooooo.....I've taken the plunge

& had myself a little play with some distress inks & some mica powders and guess what

 happened......I LOVE playing inky & dirty lol......this feels like ME! I know I'm a complete

 novice, there's so much to learn but there's some fab crafty bloggers out there offering loads

 of inspiration & tips......and I can't wait to learn more, think I'm gonna be addicted

to Youtube before long! 

So this is my 1st (that I dare to share) make, a little kraft tag that I spritzed with some

distress inks, I stamped the image, coloured with pencils & wow, colouring on kraft is so

 different.....but I kinda like it! I used a Copic fineliner to doodle the black around the edges,

sprayed some mica pearly powdery stuff over the whole thing then added some seam binding

that I swooshed through the inky mess on my desk.......well, the colour was way too

pretty too waste.......then I heat dried it to make it all crinkly.....and that's it!

Would love to know what you think.......but be gentle with me lol!

For Cam.....

Morning friends......hope you're all well & safe after the awful weather.....mind you,

it's still blowing a gale here & we've had awful rain & thunder like you wouldn't believe!

Just popping in today to share another bracelet I made, this one is for my son, Cam...he

 loves his bracelets.....wraps, shamballa....you name it, he wears it lol!

This one is simply 14 lengths of waxed cotton cord, silk wrapped & glue into the

end cups then assorted charms attached randomly.....and I'm pleased to say he loves it!

Rightio, off to go do some jobs then maybe a little play......I've been wanting to have a

go at a mixed media canvas & I finally started yesterday, oooh, it's great fun.........maybe I'll 

be brave enough to share it with you soon......eeekk! Thanks for calling......see you soon!

Just saying Hi!

Morning crafters, happy Saturday.....hope you have something nice planned for the weekend!

We're planning a lazy day, staying close to home, just pottering about & maybe an

hour (or 3) in the craftroom!

I'm sharing a card today.........I'd coloured the image a while ago then yesterday I found

 the scrap of flower patterned paper & thought the two would go well together.....and

 this is the result! I'll pop her into my box until I need her, it's always nice to have a

 just-because-I wanted-to-say-hi card, don't you think?

Snowflakes & Pearls!

Morning lovely crafters, hope you're all well......sending hugs if you need them!

Well, it's another warm, sunny day here on the Yorkshire Coast & I have a mountain

of washing & ironing to do but first I wanted to share another bracelet, this one with

 a Christmas theme...........eeeek.......it's creeping up on us so fast now!

This time I used some green glass pearls & some white acrylic pearls, the little silver

spacer beads are snowflakes.......it's a shame my rubbish photo doesn't do

them justice cos they're so pretty IRL.

Anything Goes with Nutcrafters!

Morning crafters.....hope you're all well today!

We have a new challenge over at Nutcrafters starting this morning, the theme

as chosen by our lovely Gemma is a nice, easy one for you:

ANYTHING GOES!

As usual, there's some fab prizes to be won

1st prize - £10 to spend in the Nutcrafters store if you use a Nutcrafters image

(there's freebies on the blog!)

2nd prize - 2 digis or 1 stamp sheet (subject to availability)

For my card I used the digi 'Chewed to Perfection', probably one of my
favourite Nutcrafters images......he's just so sweet!
Papers are from Dovecraft, coloured with Copics I matted each layer onto
brown card & then the whole lot onto a dark green card blank. A computer
generated sentiment & a couple of gems to finish & that's it!

Anything Goes with Crafty Calendar!

It's a bit cooler (but not much) here today, we had rain (lots) and a long, loud &

rumbly thunderstorm yesterday that had the dogs howling & poor Milly dog

trying to find somewhere to hide :(

Snowflakes with Sparkles Christmas Challenges!

Morning lovely crafters.....hope you're all well! It's a bit cooler here today

so I might have a little wander around town if it stays like this.

So today I'm sharing my Dt make for the latest challenge over at Sparkles Christmas

 Challenges where the theme is SNOWFLAKES! As usual we like to see any & all

of your crafty makes....cards, Atc's, layouts, tags.....anything you'd like to make!

I made a couple of Atc's this time in my favourite colours of blue & brown.......all

 using scraps too! I simply cut some kraft card to the right size, added a torn & 

inked piece of card stamped with the Silent Night music then die cut & punched

an assortment of snowflakes. I layered them up & added some gems to finish.
