Rudolph Days February 2018

Brrrr........it's a bit chilly here today..........and we have snow!
Sons College is closed as is Daughter's school so they're having a cheeky lie in........and once jobs are done I'm gonna have a crafty play!
I wanted to join in with Mo's Rudolph Days challenge again this month......had a bit of a panic on when I remembered it's a short month so had to get my thinking cap on!
I made the simplest of cards......a 6x6 card blank, a piece of coloured cardstock (I used adorable scorable) and a die cut snowflake panel. I layered them all up, stamped a greeting on a banner die cut then added a few gems......job done........and I love how the coloured card can be any colour, you could even make the card to match the recipients decor!!
Thanks for popping in......stay safe & warm.

Good Friends

Morning crafty friends, hope you're all well.
Today I have a card topper to share....... simply layered it into a black die cut frame  that would have been enough to make a stunning card with a beautiful verse but I just wanted to show how you can add other bits & bobs to a premade piece......in this case a flower arrangement & a die cut flourish!
So there we go.......quick & easy and, I think, quite beautiful.

Thank You!

Hi friends, hope you're all well & looking forward to the weekend?
Just popping on to share one of the thank you cards I made after Christmas.......a LOTV sentiment, some lovely layers using my favourite black card & a distressing tool.....and some die cut embellishments.......and that's it,  job done. Hope you like it! Thanks for calling & for any comments you might leave......have a lovely weekend!

To the best Mum!

Hi friends, hope you're all well!
Thanks so much for all the lovely, encouraging comments you've been leaving me, I'm really enjoying going through my crafty stash.......even if it is only for a little time as & when I can.
Today I have a card for a Mum, I love the colour combo on this one although I'm really not a pink girl lol......I do love me some black though! Again, lots of snippets used here, all the same paper pad too which means I can enter the first challenge over at Creative Crafting World as the paper is from their Raspberry Ripple stack & the black card is Lynda's famous (and fabulous) black card!
Lots of die cut embellishments, some paper roses, gems & a stamped sentiment & that's it......once I decided on a layout it came together fairly quickly.
Thanks for calling......see you soon!

Something for the weekend........

Hi crafty friends, hope you're all well!
I'm loving this 'stash busting' attitude I have right now, I'm finding lots of things I'd forgotten I had & so everything I find feels like something new! It's great to be back blogging again, especially with my new laid back attitude lol! Accepting my limitations makes a huge difference too......health wise I can no longer craft  for as long as or in the same way as I used to but accepting that and crafting as & when I can (even if it's only for 5 mins) makes such a huge difference.
So today I have a steampunk card to share......a little decoupage, some gold cogs......and I used an embossing folder! How long is it since you used one of them? It turned a plain, old piece of gold mirri into a piece of luxury card.......just beautiful. A best wishes sentiment means it'll fit almost any occasion too.
Thanks for stopping by & for any comments you might leave....have a lovely weekend!

Love......

.........is in the air!
Are you singing along? Happy Valentine's day friends!
A quick & easy card to share today, I'm on a mission to use us some stash & 1st in line was this image from a LOTV art pad! I simply distressed some paper, added a die cut frame, a couple die cut embellishments & finished with some gems & a sprinkling of glitter. Love how it came together so quickly & I think I'll be using the layout again too.
