Does my bow look big on this?

Honest answers please lol!

I've had this bow just sat in a drawer for ages as I thought it was maybe a bit too big to use on a card then when I was putting this card together I just thought what the heck....and I love it! It's a "just because I wanted to make it" card, that's why there's no sentiment yet, figured I could pop a little tag on when I know where it's going! I've used the sweetest little image from LOTV, coloured with promarkers & flexmarkers, paper from the Boofle range, paper roses, punched flowers & butterflies, my Marianne Creatables tree die and lashings of stickles! Now I just need to make a box deep enough to fit that bow! 

So, my friends, what are your plans for today? Well it's raining here so I think the boys will probably be on xbox so that means me and Miss Rebecca can play in the craft room!

Morning everyone, hope you're all well!

Today's card is my DT card for the new challenge

over at Sparkles challenges blog and this month

our theme is NATURE. We have 2 sponsors for you

Wow, hows that for prizes......don't forget we're a multi crafts

For my card I've used probably my favourite stamp

ever coloured with promarkers, some Kraft,  LOTV

sentiment stamp, butterfly & flower punch, a Marianne die,

some ribbon & a few pearls!

Morning, my lovely blog buddies!

Another gorgeous day here on the Yorkshire Coast.....maybe

Summer's here at last! Today I wanted to share this fab little digi from 

Nutcrafters....it reminded me of my childhood (many years ago)

 when the Summer really was Summer! I lived in a cul-de-sac

 and we would play out all day long! Many's a time we would

 have ourselves a lemonade table and sell glasses to the Mum's 

coming home from the shops then

refill and do the same for all the Dads coming home from work!

I'm sure all the cups had bits of grass and probably a few

dead flies (eugh!!) in them but nobody minded!

Ooooh, enough reminiscing for me....makes me realise just

how fast the years are rolling by!

Rightio, off the tidy up then enjoy the garden for a while, might

even have a BBQ tonight......any excuse not to cook lol!

A little bit of me time!

Hi friends, just wanted to pop on to say "HI", hope 

you're all enjoying our fantastic Olympics......go Team GB....

...aren't they doing well?Oh, we're addicted but I did manage to make an

 ATC on Sunday while watching the tennis, wanted to join in with this 

week's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge, the 

theme is "Take time for you".

My favourite thing to do........besides craft, of course, is

to take a nice, hot bubbly bath......bathroom door locked and 

maybe even some  music - the louder the better -  and a glass of something! 

My ATC ended up completely different than

my original idea.....but I'm quite happy with it lol!

Back to the Olympics for me......hope your days a good one!

The Happy Scrappers - challenge #4 - Sports

Hello & good morning, my crafty friends, hope you're all well today!

 Are you all ready for a new scrapbook challenge?

We're on #4 over at The Happy Scrappers and it's my turn to choose the theme

so in honour of the Olympics and Team GB, I chose "SPORTS".

I scrapped old but favourite pics of my very own sporting

 hero......my youngest Son, Nic. He plays Rugby League

and is ob-sess-ed!! Oh my, he even sleeps next to his rugby ball!

I've used scraps for some simple layering, some

ric-rac and some black lettering and that's it!
