Something for the Weekend!

Morning crafty friends & bloggers, welcome to 'Something for the Weekend'.....the perfect
time to share something......anything you want, doesn't have to be crafty!
I have a card topper to share today....all pink & silver & black with lots of foiling too
although that doesn't show up too well in the photo, it's so much prettier IRL.
I was debating whether or not to put this on the front of a notebook so it could be used
as one of those books that people sign & leave a little message in at parties.
Or I could make it into a card & make a notebook as well.....ooh, I've got a head
full of ideas now lol!
Nothing much planned here today, was going to have a wander around town with
my grandson but it's cold, dark & ever so wet so might have to have a rethink on that.
Do you have anything nice planned?
Thanks for calling......see you tomorrow.

Paper Frosting Friday!

Hi crafty friends, hope you're all well & looking forward to the weekend.
So it's Paper Frosting Friday again.....the day I share my handmade embellishments......
......why Paper Frosting? Well, just because embellishments is such a mouthful.....
and paper frosting sounds so much nicer, I think.
So today I have some Harry Potter inspired envelopes to share, perfect for scrapbook
pages, journals, card making........I'm sure there's many uses for them. I used more pages
from my water damaged Harry Potter book, added an insert for journaling, stamping
etc., or you could add cinema tickets and/or receipts. What do you think? I wanted to
keep them fairly plain then they could be added to as & when required.
Rightio, almost tea time so I better dash.....thanks for calling & for any comments
you might leave......see you over the weekend!

Thursday Throwback!

Hi friends, hope you're all well  warm....there was a definite nip in the air last night!
Welcome to Thursday Throwback where I'd love you to share your past makes...
......do you still love them.....would you change anything.......or would you
rather not admit to making them lol! As usual, if you'd like to join me just leave
me a comment so's I can come visit you back.
As Halloween is almost upon us I thought I'd share some ATC's I made a fair
few years ago....I'm not sure where the image is from, maybe Dilly Beans?
The tombstone was die cut & coloured with promarkers, the mesh background
was from one of the £ shops & the letters were stickers.
Rightio, better go get something done if I want an hour (or two) in the
craft room later. Thanks for calling......see you tomorrow!

Something for the Weekend!

Hi friends.......welcome to 'Something for the Weekend'!
My share this weekend is a furry one lol.....some of you might know I'm a bit
of a crazy cat lady........and I think one of my boys uses that to his advantage lol.
So when Willow needed a home he literally just turned up with her......then about 3 weeks
later he arrived with her brother, Dash..........how could I refuse those sweet faces?
They're now 6 months old & they really are the sweetest kittens, they get on so well with the others, they love snuggles, spiders......and worms!! And when they purr
it sounds like a  freight train going past!!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend.....and if you want to share 'Something for the
Weekend' do leave me a comment so I can come visit you too.
Thanks for calling......see you tomorrow.

Paper Frosting Friday!

Hi crafty friends & bloggers, hope you're all well.
I know I say it every week but oh my, don't these Friday's come around quick?
So it's Paper Frosting Friday again......the day I share my handmade embellishments...
......why paper Frosting? Well, just because embellishments is such a mouthful.....
and Paper Frosting sounds so much nicer, I think.
So this week I have some handmade flowers to share. I made these with some leather
offcuts and a Harry Potter book that was sadly water damaged & I couldn't bring myself
to throw it away. I started with a die cut leather base, added layers of die cut book
pages & finished with a faux pearl centre. It's quite hard to see all the layers in the pic
but IRL when they're all scrunched up they look so good.
Here's a close up:
Rightio, that's me for today.....thanks for calling & for any comments you might
leave......have a lovely weekend.
