A gorjuss Christmas!

Morning friends, I can't believe I haven't blogged for a whole week and I've missed you all so bad! It's been a whirlwind of uniform shopping, college enrolment and just general back to school preparations here.......roll on next week! One back on Monday, 2 back on Tuesday and Miss Rebecca back on Wednesday!
So today i've finally got a card to share....a gorjuss girl coloured with promarkers, some Christmas paper, some kraft, a scalloped circle, die cut snowflake, some raffia, string and a few pearls! Oh and I cut some presents from the paper to sit at her feet!
So that's it for today........but I'll be back tomorrow with 2 posts.......I feel a bit like a no 17 bus at the moment.......none for ages then 2 turn up at once lol!

What's behind your printer?

Morning, hope you're well today!
Fab news yesterday.......my Son, Chris (15), took 4 GCSE's a year early and passed them all!
Well done, Chris, we're so proud of you! And big congrats to everyone else who got results yesterday!
Anyway, onto today's card...............

I've no idea who this image is, or even where it came from! I'm ashamed to say I found it in an envelope with a few others - hidden behind my printer! I thought she would make the perfect wedding/engagement card so I coloured her with pro/flexmarkers and mounted her onto a scallop circle, the papers were freebies with a mag and I've used some kraft card......oh, how I love that stuff! I've tucked a couple of tickets behind the scallop circle, added few flowers & pearls and that's it!

Off to get the rest of the boys uniform today - they're changing from polo shirts to  a proper
shirt, tie & blazer - wish me luck!!!!!

Back to School at Lexi's Creations!

Morning......yes, it's almost that time of the year......back to school time!

2 more weeks to go for my lot but over at Lexi's Creations we have a new challenge and the theme is

Back to School/College! We are sponsored this time by the fab

I made a card this time but watch this space......there may be one or two other back to school themed 

projects on their way! I used the cutest digis....Teacher & baby Dino available here, some kraft, a scallop die to make the card, paper from Making Memories, promarkers and some computer generated words!

Just had to sing that song while making this one......you know the one that goes....ABC easy as 123.....was it 

Jackson 5.......eek! that makes me feel real old!

Does my bow look big on this?

Honest answers please lol!

I've had this bow just sat in a drawer for ages as I thought it was maybe a bit too big to use on a card then when I was putting this card together I just thought what the heck....and I love it! It's a "just because I wanted to make it" card, that's why there's no sentiment yet, figured I could pop a little tag on when I know where it's going! I've used the sweetest little image from LOTV, coloured with promarkers & flexmarkers, paper from the Boofle range, paper roses, punched flowers & butterflies, my Marianne Creatables tree die and lashings of stickles! Now I just need to make a box deep enough to fit that bow! 

So, my friends, what are your plans for today? Well it's raining here so I think the boys will probably be on xbox so that means me and Miss Rebecca can play in the craft room!

Those were the days!

Morning, my lovely blog buddies!

Another gorgeous day here on the Yorkshire Coast.....maybe

Summer's here at last! Today I wanted to share this fab little digi from 

Nutcrafters....it reminded me of my childhood (many years ago)

 when the Summer really was Summer! I lived in a cul-de-sac

 and we would play out all day long! Many's a time we would

 have ourselves a lemonade table and sell glasses to the Mum's 

coming home from the shops then

refill and do the same for all the Dads coming home from work!

I'm sure all the cups had bits of grass and probably a few

dead flies (eugh!!) in them but nobody minded!

Ooooh, enough reminiscing for me....makes me realise just

how fast the years are rolling by!

Rightio, off the tidy up then enjoy the garden for a while, might

even have a BBQ tonight......any excuse not to cook lol!

A little bit of me time!

Hi friends, just wanted to pop on to say "HI", hope 

you're all enjoying our fantastic Olympics......go Team GB....

...aren't they doing well?Oh, we're addicted but I did manage to make an

 ATC on Sunday while watching the tennis, wanted to join in with this 

week's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge, the 

theme is "Take time for you".

My favourite thing to do........besides craft, of course, is

to take a nice, hot bubbly bath......bathroom door locked and 

maybe even some  music - the louder the better -  and a glass of something! 

My ATC ended up completely different than

my original idea.....but I'm quite happy with it lol!

Back to the Olympics for me......hope your days a good one!
