Christmas with Lexi's Creations

Morning you lovely bloggers......hope you're all well, warm &

looking forward to the week! Here I am with my 2nd post

for today.........a new challenge for you

over at Lexi's Creations  & the theme is Christmas..

.......my favourite time of the year! We're sponsored by the

 wonderful My Heart Pieces

and as usual, we'd like to see anything you'd like to make

just so long as it matches the theme! I made a Boofle

card, couldn't have been any easier.....just an a4 piece of

red card, some Boofle paper, a Boofle cardfstock sticker, a 

scallop die and a 6 x 6 card blank.....nice & flat so

perfect for posting too! Don't forget to pop over to the main

challenge blog and check out the teams' fabby creations!

Here come the Boys......GDT card!

Morning friends, happy Monday! Today I'm so chuffed

to share my GDT card for Here come the Boys! 

Couldn't believe it when Lisa emailed me......thank you

so much.....I'm excited to join you for your next challenge!

As you probably know it's a men/boys only challenge and

this time the theme is Birthdays.......right up my street

with all them boys of mine! I used one of my fav

boy images, some fabby double sided papers, blue card,

string, bunting die, lotv sentiment stamp & a 6 x 6

card blank.

Hi friends..... hope you're well!

Oooo, I'm starting to get excited.....not long now 'til Christmas!

Not that I'm anywhere near ready lol! Haven't even got a list

 and I usually have a list (or 10) for everything!

 So today I'm sharing

a Christmas tree decoration/wall hanging........oops!.....just
noticed that gem looks a bit wonky lol! I used the 

largest x-cut heart die for the base & covered it in some

old, old aida from my sewing stash. Tilda was coloured with

promarkers, the trees & fence are die cut as is the snowflake

wreath. Flowers & gems are from my stash! Rightio, that's me

for tonight......off to go make a few lists! Thanks for calling, enjoy

Scrappy Sunday!

Morning friends,  hope you're well and having a lovely
weekend! It's been pretty quiet here....Miss Rebecca took
over my desk yesterday to do her homework so perfect
opportunity for me to catch up on some digi scrapbooking!
The pic is of my 4th Son, Chris a few years ago wearing
his favourite blue hat.......oh, did he love that hat.....he wore
it every chance he got lol! I scrapped this in Serif Craft Artist
and used elements from different kits and love how it
came together so quickly. Have you tried digi scrapbooking?

Christmas is coming...Sparkles DT card!

Morning all.....hope you're all well today & big hugs to

those that aren't feeling too good!

Today sees a new challenge over at Sparkles and

the theme is "Christmas is coming"...........and isn't it

coming fast! Now as usual, we'd like to see anything you'd

like to create, doesn't have to be a card, just so

long as you stick to the theme. For inspiration why not

I made a card using the cutest snowlady digi, some

very old but lovely paper, die cut bunting, icicle

border, some resin snowflakes, pearls, ribbon and

a hand stamped sentiment! Love this colour combo

and will definitely be using it again........got to

use up all that paper! Thanks for calling today, hope

For those about to rock............

we salute you!!

Today's card is for my rock music loving 4th Son, Chris who's

 16 today!!!! Where have the years gone......doesn't seem like 

2 minutes since he was born......on the settee at home!!!

Here's a pic......he's the one on the left!

He's funny, kind, clever, loves acting & cooking, is music mad

.......and has a maths exam this afternoon :( !

Happy Birthday Chris..........we love you!

So for his card I just had to use the fab paper from the DCWV

Rockstar range, no image just some words from

a song by one of his fave bands......AC/DC, some die cut

bunting and some brown card.....hope he likes it!

This pic is of the 2 newest members of our family.....

my 2nd Son, James came home with these 2 little kitties

yesterday.....that's Shadow on the left & Syn on the right!

Poor little things had not been cared for very well and

they'd been kept in a shed day & night. So they've been fed,

 cleaned up, brushed, wormed and look so

much better although under all that fluff & fur they are just

skin & bone....now we just need to get them to sleep lol!

They haven't closed their eyes once since they came!
