Morning lovelies, hope you're all well! It's a bright. beautiful morning
here on the Yorkshire Coast........but oh, so cold......think I'll be staying
close to my toasty warm craft room!
Recently I watched a very talented lady (RachO113) on Youtube and oh
my gosh, she is fantastic and so inspiring......so much so that I treated myself
to a small set of CARAN d'ACHE water soluble wax pastels and wow, I
love them lol! This was my very 1st attempt, not perfect by a long shot but I
just wanted to kind of get a feel for them, see if I thought I might like
them or if I'd be giving them to Miss Rebecca.........but do you know what?
I'm soooo keeping them lol! All I did was to draw a strip of colour then
go over it with a damp paintbrush and blend as much or as little as you want!
I added a couple of die cuts & a stamped sentiment and that's it done.
Rightio, off to get the uniforms washed & the tea in the slow cooker
then the rest of the day is my own! Thanks for popping by & whatever
you're up to have a lovely weekend!

Hi Jo and wow this is fabulous. Love those colours and remember there is no perfect to anything!!! Just go with your instincts and what you like! I have to admit a fabulous choice of pencils and I do like using them in my journals. have a good weekend

This is just stunning hun...not heard of those pastels before...off to research lol!!
ReplyDeleteWith the girlies only having 10 month between them, they kinda liked the same things at the same time....so one Christmas we decided to get them a kitchen thingy with a microwave etc with it...we managed to get a pooh bear tea service as well. Best thing we ever got them, hours & hours & hours & hours they would play with it....only downside was drinking really watered down orange juice instead of a cuppa lol!
Have a great Sunday
Hugs Shell xx
