Hi my crafty friends & followers, hope you're all well & enjoying the weekend!
I managed a little crafty time this week, wanted to get my page done for the Alpha/Dictionary challenge over at The Craft Barn where the letter this fortnight is R.
I chose the word ROSE but as so often happens my page turned out nothing like I planned lol......but it does fit in well with the pages I did so far so all's good! Lots of inky layers on a distressed background & finished with some fabric roses & a dictionary definition.......job done.
Rightio, gonna keep it short & sweet........those kitties need cuddles! Thanks for calling, enjoy the rest of the weekend......see you soon!
xx
Don't forget.....there's still time to enter my candy HERE if you'd like.
Your page is gorgeous Jo. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty page Jo, lovely colours and texture, and the distressed paper give a lovely vintage look, Kate x
ReplyDeleteIt may not have started out the way you planned, but it turned out to be a gorgeous masterpiece. It's the perfect R word and I love how you tore the page edge. Of course, the lace was simply unbelievable, too. It's amazing how you made such a romantic and feminine entry look like something even a man would find interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty feminine page, I love the tattered edges and the mix of patterns, texture and images. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteYour page is beautiful! I like that tattered edge and the vintage look of the rose photo and the other papers with the photo. The lace and the roses also have that vintage feel. Beauty for the eyes to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous Jo, a lovely vintage design.
