Morning crafty friends......hope you're all well.
Did you have a lovely weekend? As usual, it flew past & I didn't get done half of what I wanted.......I did manage some baking though so that kept the troops happy lol!
So this year I was determined to join in with my friend Scrappymo's Rudolph Days Challenge where she invites us to enter a Christmas make every month........a great way to build up your Christmas card stash! I went with a non traditional colour combo this time & made a little 5x5 card. Lots of layers, some distressed, some silver mirri card for extra sparkle, a lovely die cut frame, die cut embellishments & finished with some faux pearls.......my 1st Christmas card of 2018!!
Rightio, better get going.......thanks for calling & whatever you're up to have a lovely day!
xx

Hi Jo
ReplyDeleteI was so happy to see this card from you! Seems like so long ago that I started my blog and you kindly gave me such good advice to get me going!
Love your pretty card. So many things I like about it. I love that you distressed the outer edges of the pink striped card. it is a lovely contrast to the feminine look of the card. Love all the dies, and your pretty design.
i have this image and you may notice on my blog, that I am not colouring as much as I used to. i have difficulties with my hands swelling from a medication I take. As I tend to colour late at night till the wee hours of the morning, that is of course when they are swollen. So I have learned to be on the lookout for cute images like this. i still colour on my good days, but have these tucked away for the bad.
Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.
its so gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Jo, such a sweet image and lovely non traditional colours.
