Canvas Heart

Hi friends....hope you're all well!
This canvas has been sat in my craft room for a couple of months
now, you know when you think it needs a little 'something' but don't know
what that 'something' is? Well, I decided to share it anyway lol.....and as
it's for me if I ever decide to add something then I can share it again lol!
I started by giving it a coat of Gesso then drew the heart shape freehand.
Then the fun part.....scrunched up tissue paper & more Gesso to give
the lumpy bumpy effect!
Once dry I added a light green acrylic paint, wasn't
quite happy with the colour so took a wad of kitchen roll & dipped it
into some teal green paint. Just by dabbing here & there I kept going til I
was happy with the colour. For the heart I used just one sheet of 12x12 paper
torn into strips, I used a distress marker to highlight the joins then edged
it with some ric rac. The flowers were fussy cut from another sheet of the
same paper & I filled the centre with some beads.....last but not least, I
added some Tim Holtz chit chat stickers!
So that's me for today....would love to know what you think. Thanks for
calling......see you soon!
xx
