Morning lovelies.......hope you're all well & have something nice planned
for the weekend! Bright & very breezy here today so methinks I'll be
ploughing through the mountains of washing I always seem to have!
First though, I have some exciting news...........myself & Sue are now the
proud co-owners of the Crafty Calendar challenge blog! Lynne, the previous
owner had decided to step down due to ill health & rather than close the blog
she very generously handed over the reins to us two!
So today sees the start of June's challenge, the theme is FANCY FOLDS
and we're sponsored by the fabulous Aurora Wings who are offering a
prize of $15 to spend instore..........you will be soooo spoilt for choice!
We were lucky enough to receive a sponsor image, I chose Turtle Kiss &
after colouring her with my Copics I made an easel card, I added lots of die
cuts, distressed layers, cheesecloth, pearls, some paper flowers & finished
with some chit chat stickers from Tim Holtz.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun you and Sue are going to have with your challenge blog. I will try to get a card made soon as I get home. We are heading back from the lake tomorrow but then there is always a mountain of laundry to do as I am hauling all the linens home to wash too! lol
Sue is such a great girl...I met up with her when I went to England last time. She and her DH! He is such a fabulous guy...what a small world our blogging cardmaking community is.
You and I just have to meet for coffee or tea next trip!
