Hi my crafty friends, hope you're all well & have something nice planned for the weekend!
Not much going on here.....the boys are at work, Rebecca is snowed under with her school art work & me? Well, I have the best job.......I'm on kitty duty! I will post some more pictures soon......promise!
Thanks so much for all your kind words on my RA.......I think I've now accepted it's just something I have to live with.....and I will.......it's not gonna beat me lol! It does mean I can't craft exactly as I used to......I can't hold my Copics to colour properly......but there's plenty more I can do!
So with that in mind my makes for today are a couple of congratulations cards I made for the winners of my last candy......& I used shaving foam!! A great technique.....messy, fun & inky.....& it works every time......and oh my, does it smell good!! Once dried, I simply cut the backgrounds to size, mounted onto some coordinating card, added a die cut sentiment & finished with a couple of gems!
Sorry the photo isn't the best....we seem to be heading back toward Winter in my neck of the woods!
Thanks for calling lovelies......have a great weekend!
xx

ReplyDeleteI really admire your positive attitude Jo. My sister has severe RA, she's had it since childhood, and absolutely refuses to let it beat her either!
ReplyDeleteYour shaving foam technique cards look gorgeous, love the colours!
Pretty cold and miserable here too...roll on summer!

ReplyDeleteFabulous use of the shaving foam technique, Jo! I must admit, though you believe it works every time, it's a technique I love but have never mastered. :-( Loving your great attitude toward the RA. Gives great hope to all of us who suffer with it to one degree or another.
ReplyDeleteOooo I've still not tried this technique but it appears to make beautiful cards. I love the swirls and colour combos.
ReplyDeleteI bet the kittens are fairly growing.
Hugs Erika.
