Rebecca's calendar

Morning.....hows you all today? It's dull, grey, damp &
miserable here today.......and I have to go to town! Oh, well,
 needs must.......would you believe I broke my paper trimmer?
Any suggestions on what kind I should buy would be very
much appreciated....guillotine or trimmer? Can't make my mind
 up! But for today I'm sharing the hanging calendar I made
for Miss Rebecca. I used an 8 x 8 scalloped piece of black
card for the base, odd bits of paper, ribbon, some die cut circles
for her name and a sprinkle of gems! The image is one of my
fav Sugar Nellie stamps and I coloured her with my Spectrum 
Noir pens.........1st time I've used them properly and I'm real 
pleased with how it turned out........and more importantly, 
Miss Rebecca loves it! Rightio, better go make myself look
presentable......don't think I dare go to town in my pj's!

    Hi there Jo fab calender - love the colours! I too have an xcut guillotine - love it to bit - Just bought a full sized one from crafters companion and thats working well too - but my 8x8 xcut has been going for years and years now! Love it xx

    Wow! this is gorgeous Jo! I love the colours and layout! the image is really sweet and Love the gingham ribbons and letters!! it's a fab design!
    I subscribed to a magazine this year and got a free Clevercut 5 in 1 Paper Trimmer. I had never had one before and now can't believe how I managed without it. I love it! but I've not tried any others so can't compare really… I know a lot of people love the guillotines. I honestly wouldn't dare get one of those for myself... I am so accident prone and clumsy I would probably chop my hand off!!! LOL

    Gorgeous calender Jo, I like the sweet image, the papers and the way you have added the name. I think the best trimmers are from docraft, but I use purple cow which is fabulous, becaue the docraft ones are pink.

    A great project here Jo. the weather with me is miserable too and I have a cold so no venturing out for me at the moment.
    I have a guillotine as I have problems with trimmers.
    Hope you find what suits you best.
