November 2015 ATC Swap!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends......hope you're all well.

November 1st already so time for a new ATC swap theme...and this month

I'm gonna challenge you all to create an ATC on the theme of

ALICE in WONDERLAND!!

As usual, ATC's should be 3.5 x 2.5 inches, you make & send me 4 & once

everyone's arrive I'll send you back 4.....and if you could enclose a

stamped addressed envelope that would be great!

in......& so's I know to watch out for Postie.

A little bit shabby.....

Morning crafty friends & bloggers......hope you're all well & warm!

Just popping in to share another Christmas card, I think this may be my last one

for this year although knowing my lot I'm sure to hear at least a couple of

cries of 'Muummm, can you make me a Christmas card, please?'

So today's card was made using a die cut sheet from a Studio Light pad,

love these pads, so useful, so many gorgeous designs & they work very well

with lots of other papers too. I simply matted & layered a coupe of sheets,

inked the edges & added some of the die cut elements. The top layer & the tags

are all mounted onto foam pads to give some extra depth & I added a bit of

crochet trim just cos I love it lol.

Rightio, that's me for today. I'm off to do some Christmas shopping, not sure

whether to brave the elements or stay indoors & do it online so I'll go have a

 cuppa & think about it. Thanks for calling.......see you soon.

Pay it Forward Giveaway!

Hi crafty friends & bloggers, hope you're all well & warm.....the weather's certainly

taken a turn for the worse right now...............we have snow & it's so, so cold!

So for today I have a little giveaway, let me tell you the story behind it....

I was at a checkout waiting to pay for something the other day & on front of me was an elderly lady paying for some cushions. She pulled out a couple of neatly folded bags & was trying to put the cushions in them & put her purse away at the same time.....while the cashier sat picking at her finger nails!! I automatically picked up one of the bags & helped her to pack her cushions, then popped them into her shopping trolley for her. She was so thankful & said to me that she hoped I was

rewarded with kindness from someone very soon. The very next day Postie brought me a package from my lovely blog friend Barb containing a heart I'd admired on her blog! 

How gorgeous is that? Thanks so much Barb, I love hearts & this now has pride of place in my

 craft room! So I decided to pay Barb's kindness forward & give away a paper pad.

It's called Mulberry Kisses from First Edition, it's 8x8 & is full of the most gorgeous

papers....some glittered, some fabric, some double sided......just beautiful!

Wooden heart

Morning lovelies, how are you today? Well, I hope. All good here, had a little crafty spend yesterday when I was supposed to be doing my Christmas shopping so guess what I have planned for today? Not a lol,....gonna shut myself away in my craft room & have a crafty play. So today's crafty share is a wooden heart, I painted, sanded, stamped & crackled away then finished with some seam binding I dyed with Dylusions spray ink...... so much messy fun lol!

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends!

Hi friends, hope you're all well & warm......I think it's definitely time to get me Winter woolies out!

We have a new challenge for you today over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends so I have my Dt make to share. I used the gorgeous Snowflake Fairy from Ching-Chou Kuik, coloured with Copics. I layered everything onto black card & finished with some die cut snowflakes, punched tabs, gems & some Tim Holts chit chat stickers. away to save my sanity......and my laptop lol.

A Christmas card from me today, from about 3 years ago....could have sworn I'd shared it
before but can't find it so apologies if I have! I used sweet Magnolia Tilda image, added inky
