June Day 8.....

Day 8: Take a picture or describe your craft space

OR

Craft something that has a Christmas theme

No time for crafting today so here's my craft space:

I was gonna explain each picture......but they're pretty self explanatory

really lol, this is my favourite room in the house......all my crafty stash

in one place! It's cosy, warm, still a work in progress and there's 

always a dog, sometimes a cat or two and usually a couple of kids on the 

sofa. Miss Rebecca is usually to be found at the tv side of the desk

 or curled on the sofa with a book! Rightio, that's me for tonight......off for a 

catch up with Game of Thrones and  maybe a little glass of something

 nice! See you tomorrow.

June Day 7.....

Day 7:  Tell us 10 things that make you happy

OR 

Craft something that has a food theme

Well I did actually craft something with a food theme today but I can't

show you cos it's dt work so no double today, just 10 things

that make me happy!!

1. my fab kids.....all 6 of 'em!
2. heavy, heavy rock music......the louder the better
3. our pets......dog, cats, rabbits & a guinea pig
4. crafting......mostly paper crafting
5. giving......love to share
6. good manners.....costs nothing
7. food......I love a Sunday roast
8. a nice cup of tea......and a biscuit  (or two)!
9. PJ days with a good book.....even at my 40something age!
10. Winter......my fav time of the year, love the dark nights!

So that's it............ it don't take much to put a smile on

my face! What makes you happy?

June Day 6......

Today's prompts are:

Day 6:  Tell us how/where you get your inspiration

OR

Craft something with an Autumn theme

Well, funny you should ask......I saw a woman in the supermarket this 

morning with turquoise hair and spent most of the afternoon trying to colour

 the exact same shade but to no avail, does make me wish I was a good

few years younger though.....I used to love colouring my hair! For me, 

inspiration is everywhere.....magazines, tv, blogs, music is a big influence

too though mainly for personal stuff....not things I tend to blog. A new fav

is Pinterest but oh my, it's soooo addictive I have to limit myself....you

can lose hours just trawling the boards!

Ooo er....that's a tough one......I do quite like a good quote lol

but being the old rock Mama that I am I'd probably go with

June Day 4.....

Today's prompts are:

Day 4: What is your craft/s? What is it about this craft/s that floats

your boat so much?

OR

Craft something that has a flower theme

Don't think I'm gonna manage the double today so what is my craft?

Right now it has to be paper craft....I love the speed of it, the feel 

of it.....heck, even the smell of it! I love all the lush embellies

that go alongside it. I love the fact that 10 different

people could have the exact same stuff yet each create something 

so unique. I love that it's something my Daughter, Rebecca and

 I can do together but mostly I love the giving/sharing part.

Each & every crafter I've met in real life & through blogging

have been the kindest most giving person.

As well, I love to sew....machine, cross stitch, by hand....but

for me sewing is a solitary craft......and I love that too.

I love to sit cosied up on cold Winter nights with my cross

stitch frame and a huge mug of coffee! So that's me......oh, and a

bit of crochet & knitting creep in sometimes too!
