Paper Frosting Friday!

Morning crafty bloggers.....hope you're all safe, well & warm.
Wow, what a night.....wind & rain like we've not had for a long time last night,
the poor cats were terrified, the dogs kept barking & I hardly slept a
wink lol........might have to have a little snooze this aft!
So here we are.......Friday again, the weeks are flying past that quick I
can barely keep up.....and I'm way behind on Christmas plans already. Mind you,
that's maybe because I decided to re-arrange the whole downstairs of
our house! Oooops, I'm waffling again.......Friday means......Paper Frosting
and today it's Halloween themed......poison bottles! Simply made using only die
cuts & a couple of gems I think these are a quick & easy make....and not
too scary for the kids!
Rightio, better get me a move on......thanks for calling today.....whatever you're
up to hope your days a good one!

Autumn Colours at Crafty Cardmakers!

Good morning crafty friends, hope you're all well.
It's time for another challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers & the theme is
AUTUMN COLOURS
I love this theme as Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year and I
do love the colours....so much in fact my living room has a bit of
an Autumn colour scheme going on!
As usual, any & all makes are welcome....you can find the rules (not many)
and gorgeous Dt inspiration (lots) over on the main blog.....hope to see you there!
For my card I started with a base layer of chocolate brown card then
added a layer of paper, added another layer of card & paper then took a
LOTV panel & cut it into 3.....then layered that onto brown card too.
I kept it fairly simple by adding a ribbon......but no sentiment as I'll leave that
until I use the card!
Thanks for calling......and for any comments you might leave.

Paper Frosting Friday!

Hi crafty friends..... welcome to Paper Frosting Friday......hope you're all well.
For my paper frosting today I've gone with a Halloween theme.....got to admit though
I did get a bit carried away so you'll probably be seeing a lot more!
I used my banner dies to cut the base layer from scraps, the words I printed
out & simply layered onto the patterned paper then I finished with some twine
tied around the ends. Perfect little bits of frosting for cards, scrapbook, journals
......in fact useful for almost anything!
Rightio, better get a move on.......got my little grandson coming to stay later on.
Thanks for calling & for any comments you might leave......much appreciated!

Thursday Throwback!

Hi crafty bloggers, hope you're all well.
'Tis a beautiful breezy day here on the Yorkshire Coast......blue skies, warm enough that you don't need a jacket.........and washing blowing on the line........doesn't take much at all
to make me happy!
So as it's Thursday it's time to have a look back at our past makes....can be any kind of make,
it's always fun to look back, I think. Would you make the same thing again today? Maybe
tweak it a little bit? Or definitely not, no way, never lol?
My throwback this week is a birthday card I made for my Daughter a few years ago.

I wouldn't make it again though......because I've still got it! Rebecca loved it that much
I popped it in a frame & decorated the frame to match!

The image is D'Arcy's Diaries, coloured with Copics, the papers are Gorjuss, the
sentiment LOTV. I distressed & crackle painted the frame, added lots of die cuts and
made some paper flowers.
If you fancy joining me leave me a comment so's I can come visit you.
Thanks for calling.......see you tomorrow.

Don't forget.......I have CANDY if you'd like to enter.

Anything Goes at Not Just Cards!

Hi friends, hope you're all well & having a good week!
It's grey & miserable here today, perfect crafting weather & I suspect that's
what I'll be doing once I've been to my Dr appointment.
So today sees the start of a new challenge over at Not Just Cards with the theme
ANYTHING GOES
As usual, any & all makes are welcome, you can check out the few rules
& some gorgeous Dt inspiration over on the main blog.
I made more Christmas tags, you can never have too many, right?
Circular ones this time.......simply a die cut circle, a layer of scallop
circle finished with a die cut sentiment. The backs are stamped with a simple
To/From & I added string.......what a great way to use up some scraps!
Okie dokie, that's me for today......thanks for calling & for any comments
you might leave......hope to see you over at Not Just Cards!
Don't forget......I have Candy if you'd like to enter!

All Creatures Great & Small at Crafty Cardmakers!

Hi crafters, welcome to the start of a new week.....hope you're all well!
I need to start with an apology to my teamies over at Crafty Cardmakers, I seem
to have dropped a week somewhere along the way & should have posted my
Dt make last Monday......oooops......I'm so sorry!!
Anyway, better late than never I hope....and the theme  is sure to be a favourite
ALL CREATURES GREAT & SMALL
As usual, we love to see any & all makes & you can find all rules (not many)
and some fabulous inspiration (lots) over on the main blog here.
I made a card topper this time using my favourite of all creatures......CATS!
Paper is from the Paper Boutique, cats are a Marianne die, I used a circle
die for the aperture, bow is a Marianne die, flowers are punched, I designed &
printed the sentiment myself & I finished with a few faux gems.
So that's me for today, thanks for calling & for any comments you might
leave......they're much appreciated.
I have candy too if you'd like to enter......post is pinned to top of my blog,

Thursday Throwback!

Hi friends, hope you're all well & having a good week.
It's been a strange kind of week here and before I knew it it's Thursday.....and
I've not done anything I planned.......I guess I shouldn't have made any plans lol!
So, as it's Thursday you know what that means......Throwback time! My weekly look
back at past makes......if you fancy joining me just let me know in the comments then
I can come visit you back.......I'd love to see!
I'm sharing a couple of tags today...... I reckon they were made about 6 years ago
and I still like them now. Super quick & easy I simply used up some snippets of white
card, embossed some, die cut others then layered them all together and finished
with a snowflake & some paper ribbon.
Oooh, I'm feeling all Christmas-like now......think I feel a Christmas card
coming on lol.
Thanks for calling......see you tomorrow!
