Lexi's Creations - DT card - Be mine!


Good morning everyone! Are you all well? I hope so.
Well, as forecast, just after 3pm on Sat it started to snow and when i went to bed about 11ish it was still snowing! It looks so pretty outside and strangely it feels warmer than it has the last few days!!

Today it's time for a new challenge over at Lexi's Creations and this week
the theme is "LOVE/VALENTINE"

We're sponsored this time by the fantastic Fairy Dust Crafts

You really will be spoilt for choice as all the images are FAB!

For my card i chose the cute "Be Mine" bear coloured with flex/promarkers. 
I used a 6 x 6 card blank, layered up red card and red spotty paper, i cut a red scalloped square and layered bear on top, tied red ribbon across the middle and added a couple of punched hearts
 and some pearls.

    Jo, the polka dots and the bright red ribbon are incredible on this card! While I'm here, let me put on my Tuesday Throwdown DT hat and say thanks for entering it there, too.
    In the meantime, back here at Lexi's -- thanks for your understanding and support while my computer problems are being solved. Fortunately, I'll still be able to do my commenting from the computer at the office. Hope everything is up and running before the next challenge. :-D

    Hi Jo, what a pretty card! Really cute image and love the red.

    Sounds like you got snow about the same time as we did, it's mostly gone now - just slush and ice.

    Not a good time for your boiler to pack up, is it! Hope it's fixed soon!!!

    Although I live in BC Canada, I have been to Scarborough. DH's family are in Filey and has one younger relative in Scarborough.

    DH's cousin owns the train staion house in Hunmanby...they rent out a self contained suite in the Old Waiting Rooms. We stay there every couple of years and catch the train into Scarborough to shop!
    What a small world!
