Day 16: Craft/blog every day in June!

Hi guys.....day 16 & today's prompts are:
Day 16: What do you want to learn to do OR Craft something that has stripes

Sewing, well dressmaking is what I'd most like to learn.......having a daughter
that likes clothes that  little bit different I think dressmaking would be a fab thing
to learn. I know the basics & can find my way around a pattern but to learn
properly would be fab. I've promised myself that this Summer I'm gonna try & take
time to practice & maybe try find a class or two........and then Miss Rebecca might just
get that long black cape she's always wanted!

What would you like to learn?
xx

  1. Great choice hun, especially if you have a daughter who likes things different. We have a programm called adult learner (it is run by our local authority) and they have courses for pretty much anything and everything, sometimes they are a year course, sometimes they are short courses sometimes even a day course.. Maybe check them out :-) xx

  3. I wish I could get into sewing / dressmaking! I can't find my way round a pattern to save my life though! I watched the entire series of the Great British Sewing Bee and loved it. I think maybe one day! It's on my to do list! xxx

  4. I sew a little, curtains and cushions mainly, like you I would love to learn how to do it properly - I did learn at school but that was so many years ago I can't remember a thing!

  5. I'm sure your dressmaking will be just as brilliant as your papercrafting and recent ventures in to jewellery making. Miss Rebecca will have a long wish list for you to make(lol)
