Morning my lovely crafty, bloggy friends......hope you're all well!
Still not much crafting/blogging going on in our house......Rebecca has gone back
to school today & I'm feeling fine so fingers crossed we're back on track!
Today I'm sharing an altered frame, Rebecca loved this card so much & it had been
spoilt a bit with some fizzy pop so I decided to alter an old frame for it to hang on her
wall........first time I've ever done this so be gentle with me lol!
It started off an old mahogany coloured frame, a bit battered & unloved, the glass
was broken long ago, don't know why I hadn't thrown it out really!
So first I gave it a coat of purple paint, them a coat of black. I then sanded it back
a bit so's some of the purple would show through & to age it a bit. I made some
paper flowers with some Gorjuss scraps, added some die cut swirls, some
punched flowers & some pearls. I then added one of my favourite metal corner
embellishments , I cut a banner from more scraps & added some die cut letters.
Last I added random splodges of Tim Holtz' distress crackle paint.....love that stuff!
So that's it.....would love to know what you think! I'm off to catch up on the nasty
housework now, thanks for calling......have a lovely day!
xx
